  1. Hello, I just received an alert about a detection on a Dell laptop : Win32/Infatica.C Infatica is a peer-to-peer proxy service, but what looks strange to me is that the detection occurred when an executable from Dell software Support Assist Agent called infatica Dll : C:\Program Files\Dell\SupportAssistAgent\SRE\SRE.exe Dell support Assist is installed by default on every Dell computers, a least before a complete reinstall. Anybody got a message like this recently ? Regards.
  2. Looks like this method : is the quickest way to mitigate the threat. Of course updating endpoints is necessary. Quick question : why did I find this information on twitter and was never warned by Eset ? Looks like a pretty serious vulnerability, worth being advertised to Eset customers.
  3. Same here - spent one hour battling with a remote user before discovering this thread - thanks eset (and google).
