  1. Sorry it took a while to reply. I cannot find that folder location but checking through control panel the servers RA has not been updated yet. Would be advised to make a backup for the ESET folders or is fine to just update the application.
  2. I am now even more confused. I just checked my ESET Remote admin through the control panel, after using the remote admin to do components upgrade, it successfully went to version 7.2.1266.0. However it still shows as 6.5 in the remote admin portal.
  3. So essentially I would need to upgrade our ERA/ESMC server to be able to update our clients to the latest version.
  4. Hi, I was looking through our clients in the remote admin portal and noticed all of them are running the remote admin app at version 6.5.522.0 and not 7.2.1266.0. I tried updating my version and it failed. So I downloaded the application again and it installed version 6.5.552.0 from the latest download available for remote admin. Would it be possible for me to get a link to the 7.2.1266.0 download. Or is this possibly a case that the remote admin portal is saying that 7.2.1266.0 is the latest version when it is actually 6.5.522.0?
  5. Thanks I will get the logs to you as soon as possible I just need to arrange a time to access the users Desktop.
  6. We recently switched a client over to ESET and on two of their Desktops we encountered an error with installing ESET. The error was as follows "Service 'ESET Service' (ekrn) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privilege's to start system services". Initially I thought that it was either because the accounts were not administrators however in both cases they were the only profiles on the device. We think it may be AVAST anti-virus which is blocking the installation as we get the same error with regards to insufficient privilege's when trying trying to uninstall AVAST from multiple machines.
  7. Thanks I will take another look at the matter with the information provided above.
  8. I noticed that some of our clients ESET endpoint applications are out of date and I have trying to update them through the remote admin portal. However most if not all are not updating. I have even tried it on my laptop by installing version 7.0.2073.1 and then updating it through the RA portal but it is still failing. Does anyone have any suggestions besides uninstalling and reinstalling ESET?
