I have the same issue. I also had it with previous version of ubuntu. It is a problem with Berkley Packet Filter handling. if you launch chromium with --disable-seccomp-filter-sandbox it works but this absolutely not a good solution because It is not acceptable to lower the security of your webbrowser to have an antivirus working. It has also the same issue with SRWare Iron (which is a cleaner version of chromium with even less user trackers). Of course if you remove ESET 4.0.81 all work again...
