  1. After days of research and experimentation I finally solved my problem updating my audio drivers in Windows. If anyone else has this issue then I hope this helps and hopefully ESET will fix this soon. The problem was that I couldn't install or update my Windows 10 audio drivers unless I disabled HIPS in ESET NOD32 ANTIVIRUS first. This occurred on two different PCs; one had RealTek drivers; the other had Creative Labs drivers. Here's what I did: 1. Uninstall audio drivers in Windows' Device Manager 2. Disable HIPS in ESET NOD32 AV (advanced settings) 3. Restart Windows 4. Check Windows' Device Manager and uninstall audio drivers if Windows auto-installed its own drivers 5. Install my audio drivers 6. Enable HIPS in NOD32 7. Restart Windows
