nevermind I found the problem.Turns out it was my IP settings

i have another computer with the same software and that had no trouble connecting with the wifi.The one that works doesn't have the 'network' option in the 'setup' page.

No it doesn't. I tinkered with the personal firewall settings.Nothing works.

My ESET smart security 7 seems to be blocking my wifi for some reason.My computer shows that it is connected to the wifi with internet access but I cant access the web.Google chrome shows no network access.I think its caused by the firewall and i tried to change the personal firewall settings but nothing works.
