  1. may i suggest a feature that during uninstall, the uninstaller will ask us if we want to keep the current settings intact in case we are going to reinstall it again later.

since we are already able to import/export the settings, removing the program and keeping the settings (assuming the current settings don't cause any issues) will allow for much easier program configuration after reinstallation.

  2. today i noticed that after turning off/on the "enable ssl protocol filtering" option, the newly created certificate has a date of 29/6 instead of 10/7, as the current is the 10th of July.

29/6 was the date that i installed the program from scratch after removing it with the safe mode removal tool. shouldn't the AV create a certificate with the current date? did this behavior change in the latest update? ESSP 15.2.11.0

Are you referring to the PowerShell script posted here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/31893-more-liveguard-concerns/?do=findComment&comment=149839 ?

    sorry, i meant this

edit: live guard however automatically deleted a program i downloaded that was deemed malicious. (i downloaded several stuff as part of the pre-release modules testing.) when it deleted it, it also created a log entry in the sent files section

  4. is there something wrong with the forum cookies? i've always selected to hide the business or Slovak forum sections by clicking the arrow on the side of each section, since yesterday they remain open even after deleting the website/browser cookies.

found the culprit, i accidentally set Firefox to remove "offline website data" upon exiting it.

  5. unless there's a specific  contract between you (your company) and your clients that forbids them from changing the program or getting a new offer without notifying you, there's nothing you can do.
a customer can select a preferred application whenever they want and when they deem it will cost them less.

  6. is it normal behaviour for manual installation of new version updates to take more than 10 minutes to complete?

every version of v15 released i have installed it manually over the existing one, sometimes it takes 15 minutes to complete, while if i install it from scratch after uninstallation via the removal tool or the windows control panel, it completes in under 3 minutes.
i started noticing it only after v15 was released, v13 +14 didn't show this issue.
it "freezes" on backing up data and on restoring data as well

i have logs of a clean install and the in-place upgrade

  7. you can open the advanced setup by going to setup > advanced setup > update > profile > updates  > enable "ask before  downloading updates" and set the size to 1 KB. that way the program will always ask you if an update larger than the size set will be downloaded.

so if a feature update is released, you will see it in the notification and it's size as well.
