  1. Have the same issue as well (win7 x64). Though after 1-2 minutes on reboot, the options are activated automatically. Did anyone notice any lag while browsing the web & etc with v10? I occasionally have 2-10 sec lags that look like I've lost connection to internet (websites are stuck loading & etc). It started right after v10 update :/
  2. After manually uninstalling and installing v10.1.204.0, the updating does work again. Luckily i only have 2 pcs in my home network :/
  3. Keeping on trying wont get you anywhere. And its not about virus definitions only. The updater also cant see the new Product update (v10.1.210.0).But it was like that since forever. You can have several PCs in your network with NOD AV and the updater on PCs will tell you that everything is up to date, even though all of the PCs have different product versions of Nod installed.
  4. Same here updated to v10 a few days ago and now im stuck with 14855 (20170130) virus definitions... Once again, good job ESET. :/
  5. Yes, I've figured that much in my post above. Now I have to go though all that like I have nothing better to do, just because yet again ESET cant get its sh*t working.
  6. Hallo, today I wanted to update from 8.0.304.0 to 8.0.312 and now ESS stopped working. List of action: - Saw a pop-up today from ESS about the new version available - Clicked "update now" button within ESS to update - During update got an error- pop-up saying: "Das angegebene Konto ist bereits vorhanden" (The defined account exist already) - Rebooted PC and tried again with the same error. - Decided to deinstall ESS and then make a new, clean install. - same error "Das angegebene Konto ist beirets vorhanden" poped up during deinstallation process (Tried several times, reboots & etc) - can't deinstall ESS - Downloaded installer from eset webpage and tried to install with the setup - Same error pops up "Das angegebene Konto ist bereits vorhanden"... Looks like its a problem with Eset's MSI-Installer... Now i have ESS that doesn't work (red ESS icon in the task bar, with no option to enable firewall or antivirus.) The system is completely exposed, thanks ESET!
  7. @KrazieCat Send a PM to Marcos, he is one ESET Moderators here (https://forum.eset.com/user/10-marcos/) and he will send you a link to a new ESET build, that fixes this problem. As for me, Ive been testing the build for more than a week and didnt run into any problems yet.
  8. @pavilion_alex It's just a regular firewall prompt (interactive mode), only that it does not have an option/buttons to either allow or deny the connection requested by some program. I have this bug as well (though it happens extremely rarely), uninstalling and installing ESET again will not fix this. Only solution is to reboot the PC for such Firewall prompt to disappear. I've been testing a new eset build for few days that fixes the problem with "invisible firewall promts": https://forum.eset.com/topic/2124-firewall-interactive-mode-not-working-properly/ And I have not experienced the problem described in this thread yet, though like I said, that bug happens extremely rarely.
  9. Been living with invisible firewall promts for months now, glad it's finally getting fixed (I just asked Marcos for a link to the new build, hope it works)...
