Hi, Windows WMI instructions within the trusted zone blocked by clients I checked the "Allow incoming RPC communication in the Trusted zone" also tried manually adding the rules but this is not feasible as hundreds of computers and each computer takes randomly port for communication, kindly advice.

Hi Marcos, Just to reconfirm, uninstall one client and fresly installed withe the latest ver 7.3.2039.0 on win10 machine and you can see the updates are happening about 1 GB, pls. advice.

Hi Marcos, Your understanding is partially correct , our current scenario is at least 50% of our clients are traveler whose first shift is at head office over LAN and second shift outside LAN accordingly configured all clients (LAN & WAN) to get primary updates over LAN if failed then get the updates which is working fine now after your suggestion but past 1 week watching clients are getting updates more than 1 GB expecting something wrong uninstall the client and install it again though it takes updates more than 1GB. Will do one client install and share your the snapshots soon

Hi Marcos, The above suggested works perfectly fine and now all my clients are getting updates from primary over LAN and secondary over net but getting the updates from LAN takes more than the expected time though its Gigport also clients are getting updates of about 1GB whereas client version itself not more than 200 MB. kindly advise.

Hi Marcos, As advised, it is getting updates from the ERA server but pls. find below my observation for your further advice. 1. getting updates over LAN is drastically slow whereas other apps works perfectly fine over Gigport. 2. There is about 1GB updates available at client machines. . Location of repository in ERA ?

Hi MartinK, your are right, endpoint clients connect to internet get the download local and install which is configured currenlty but my query is to change the primary update to LAN so that all the clients should connect to ERA server to get updates and if it fails then to connect secondary which is ERA server from Internet. Based to the above snapshot shared, kinldy advise what changes to be made in order to acheive the goal.

Hi Experts, Pls. pardon me if my query is repeated! My eset Security Management Center Ver 7.1 running fine to manage my End Point Ver 2 & 3 Clients running Windows XP, 7 & 10 but sometime facing issue of blocking the services by eset client ...............for Example. I push GPO query to get the host sessions using power shell and received with error message saying unable to connect / Access denied and when verify at client machine the dns host service was blocked by eset so had to manually login each time to unblock the service, Since remote agent is already running at client, Is there a easy way to find out if any application / services blocked by eset clients so I can enable through ERA 7.1?

Hi, Our current network is running on class C "192.168.10.x/24" and few of my clients receiving "ARP Cache Poisoning attack" when cross check it found out that the source and target within the trusted network which is 10.x/24 network. Steps taken: Have added our trusted network (given above) under IDS but seems not resolve. Kindly advice further

Hi Marcos, I've installed ESTE Remote Administrator 7.1 and have deployed the clients, My query is, How I can use ERA to be my proxy server for all my clients for monitoring their web activity and web filtering, by this I want to achieve the bandwidth consumption by each user based to their activity accordingly I can reassign the bandwidth limitations for those users who consume the high bandwidth.

Hi Marcos & ewong, Clients are getting updates directly from the Internet. The reason being asking is, we've site connected via Data link no internet to them and all the clients in that site are not able to get the updates from Internet and always gives error notification of those PC. So My query is to how I can configure so that all clients contact to ESET server Manager on the LAN to get the updates. Hope it is clear for you
