Ok, we have to wait for a working solution , wich will keep our eventlogs clean ! So , we will stay at the 16.2.15 version . Can you , please, tell us how long we can use this version ? Will wait for your answer .

Ok , updated from 16 version to this latest 17.0.16 , rebooted ! Conclusion ; still no solution !!! id=18 and id=19 keeps showing up in our eventlogs !! Went back to 16.2.15 ( again) no eventlog-errors with this version. We are very dissapointed , still(!!) no solution for this forum-item !! So we have to cancell ( again !) to update from the 16.2.15 ............ Wonder WHEN (!!) this problem ( eventlog-errors ; id=18 and 19 ) will be resolved..........!! 🤨

Just noticed a new ESET-update ; 17.0.16 Have to know if this update ( finally !) is the solution of this forum !!!! If id=18 and id=19 again appears in our eventlogs , will not install...........🤨 Any changelog of this version ; 17.0.16 ....??

So, this annoying id=18 and id=19 still present in the eventlogs..........😖

btw; made a support-ticket and have to wait for working solution . So far , nothing , only uninstall completely , tried this already , no luck ! I still dont understand why (?) its not been fixed ..........

The 17-version is offered several times , but will stay on 16-version , untill its been fixed .............though dont understand WHY( ??) it takes sooo long !

Seems the update from 16 to 17 has been cancelled ( or removed ) , when trying to update my 16-version , it did not updated anymore to 17............!

" Security Center service not running ".............how (??) do I know if its running or not ? I still cant find this service in my service-folder ( there are a lot of them ) !

Then what ( ??) makes the difference between ESET 16 - and 17 -version ??

ESET version16 does not make any eventlog-error at all , so it seems this 17-version is corrupt ......... btw ; when trying to update the program ( from 16 to 17 ) , this version ( 17 ) is not offered anymore....

Is this service listed in "%windir%\system32\services.msc" - folder ? I have this also ; screenshot of your Windows Security window - Virus & Threat protection. Looks the same as posted before...........

" Windows Security Center Service ".............cant find this service , I do have a "Windows SecurityHealth Service ", its set on "manual" . I was able to start it though. Wonder if its the same service you were talking about............
