Hi, I have client who has latest ESET Mail Security installed on their Exchange 2016 CU19 about 2 months ago. According to Microsoft, as a general info, is to disable AV protection on the server before the install the Security Update. According to ESET Support, the SU can be installed (with cmd run as Administrator) without the need to turn off all the protection features. I am wondering if there is anyone who has this setup can share their experience to confirm or share your thoughts of whether need to turn off all ESET MS protection? Thanks in advance, Experts!

To all experts, We recently just installed EMS (ESET Mail Security) and would like to setup the weekly scan. In creating the Scheduled Task, it asks for the Target. Should I select all (Memory, EUFI boot, and partitions)? Will it affecting the Exchange operational? I realised EMS has Auto Exclusions. Will it automatically excludes the folders according to Microsoft when it run the Scheduled Scan if i chose all partitions? I have the Mailbox and log on separate partitions. Can anyone advise?
