Good afternoon. I have some doubts about the real difference between these two ESET products: Could you tell in detail what the real difference between the two tools is. I noticed that one has LiveGuard and the other doesn't, just that some tests I've done the EIS detects the same threat as ESSP. Which could convince me in a real scenario that I need the ESSP instead of using the EIS which for me is the best option between the two tools. I went to the official website to see the detailed difference between the two products and I didn't find it. What you have of information is not detailed, informing what changes from one to another in relation to detection and security.

How many problems do you have in this LiveGuard. Will the developers take into account the issues you guys showed in the comments. If they are going to fix it, it will be fast, because their fixes take a long time to get out to the general public.

Great analysis, based on this I'm thinking that the cost charged to have LiveGuard is not worth it. better stick with the EIS. since we are paying a high amount for nothing. or Kaspersky's Cloud solution, has the best result.

My product has been updated to 15.0.23.0 After I restarted the computer, this message kept showing up and it doesn't come out. I check the progress. clicking on the blue link, when I see everything is normal. this message was supposed to be gone.

Really, this version has a lot of problems with this LiveGuard it's not doing its job right. one hour it does not detect as threat, after few days it detects as threat, and when it detects it takes few minutes. For example, I went to download a program, then LiveGuard detected it and sent it to the ESET server, but it took a few minutes. why does this take so long? I had to wait and look at the pc. other competitor products do not and that way, things are faster.

Here on my pc was also blocked and removed a program that I used ten years ago, and this week ESET removed it. I was thinking, why now?

I'm sure this kind of test is useless. all known antivirus detect this type of threat. Better saying it is not a threat.

We are awaiting a response on the matter discussed above. If by any chance there is a problem, will a new update be released to fix it?

@MarcosIs it true that if I don't buy my eset license it consumes more process from my pc? If users have been testing for 30 days they will have a slower machine because they didn't buy the license?

Mine here is also configured manually, I had the same doubt as you, is it standard? could someone answer us?

All that was said, just think here, are we really safe with ESET, it is letting you rename the folders even creating the rule.

Good afternoon, I'm here to thank everyone involved in fixing HIPS. With this fix my computer was consuming less processor. Thank you for your efforts.

Does that really make it confusing, if it's good to leave it in the pre-version or Regular? when I talk about leaving, and really leaving forever. now which of the two options?

I went back for regular update, I was checking it's still consuming too much. HIPS did not go to 1427 as @Marcosreported.

Good morning, I just updated my product with HIPS 1424. As you informed yesterday it was released to the public, but I did an update here and it didn't arrive. Is it normal for everyone to take a long time?

So I'm worried because I use my machine for work it's set to pre launch because if I leave it as regular I'll have the problem as I said above, the CPU usage is too high. My question is, when will this fix be released for folks setting up for regular updates?

Why is this fix not yet released to all users?

@peteyt I changed it to the pre-version it works with low consumption, now my pc is much better consuming less processing. I would like to know why eset doesn't set it as a default for all users to have a pre version instead of the regular one? What's the real difference between pre launch and regular?
