OK, I submitted the compressed quarantine folder to samples[at]eset.com with subject "possible Trojan detected by Malwarebytes but not ESET Smart Security 10.0.390.0"

For about two weeks now Malwarebytes Free always finds Trojan.WMIHijacker.ClnShrt in Firefox recovery.js if I make an On-Demand-Scan: A scan with ESET Smart Security 10.0.390.0 says the file is OK, a complete scan of the PC also finds no infections and on virustotal also no other AV finds a virus or trojan in recovery.js. Is this something to be concerned about? Or is this a false alarm from Malwarebytes?

Still no change in regards of the log maintenance issue in version 10.0.369.1 As not all system configurations are affected, maybe it is caused by the configuration module?

Try switching to pre-release updates.

Have you tried switching from regular updates to pre-release updates or vice versa?

Is this problem with pre-release updates now fixed or does it still exist?

Is a program update needed to fix this problem, or can this be fixed with a simple module update (e.g. configuration module) ?

Is this under investigation?

After using version 10.0.359.1 for 3 days now, it seems that the problem is indeed solved.

Can someone from ESET please answer that question?

Have you read posting #7 ? Of course you can't use Smart Security Premium with a Multi Device License Key, but you can install "Smart Security 10 (non-Premium)" from here (Dutch Eset site): https://www.eset.com/nl/download/thuis/detail/family/5/#offline

In my opinion you should have the possibility to install "Eset Smart Security 10" (without Premium), which is still available for existing customers.
