  1. I have been unsuccessful when trying to exclude this program from detected threats. It's a well known packet analysis and manipulation tool and does not pose any threat what-so-ever by me choosing to run it. First, it would only present a notification in the lower right hand screen, indicating it removed the file automatically.. From there I had to go into Advanced Setup >> Real-time file system protection >> Threatsense Parameters >> and change Cleaning Level to "No cleaning".. Now I get prompted with the following when I attempt to run: Even when I click "Ignore threat" I cannot run the application as this window pops up every time I attempt to do so! Disabling Real-time file system protection is not an option I am willing to consider. I should be able to exclude a threat, no matter the circumstance. I have attempted the listed exclusions with @NAME but that only works for potentially unsafe/unacceptable and does not appear to work on this threat. I have also attempted to utilize Process Exclusions however that does not appear to work either. My guess is that this is considered a "more serious" type of threat and ESET does not allow for excluding this? If that is correct please clarify for me. It would leave me utterly disappointed in ESET for leaving such a gap in features but at least I wouldn't feel like I'm going crazy here trying to work this damn exclusion list! :|
  2. On your first picture, you indicate that Anti-theft is greyed. Mine is not greyed, I had already entered my information and it had not associated. I unchecked it just now and then re-checked it and re-entered my info. It seems to be working now, thank you!
  3. Hi. I signed up for a trial of your ESET Internet Security mainly for the Anti Theft protection... I click "Finish anti theft association" where it loads up the address " https://anti-theft.eset.com/devices " in my browser (the latest chrome). On this page it lists "3 simple steps" and the 1st step says to download/install ESET Internet security... Well I've already done that, but I tried to go ahead and do it again.. The installer says I've already got the latest version, so that checks that box. It then states to "Enable Anti-Theft in the application with your my.eset.com account credentials" which I don't necessarily see anywhere in the program.. 3rd step states to simply reload the page. I've restarted the computer since this point. My question is what do I do to get this anti theft system up and running? I need it ASAP as I'm on business and am concerned of my laptop's safety.. Please respond promptly.. Thank you.
