  1. Hi all. I am using an ESET Protect Server Virtual Linux Appliance 9.0 to manage about 400 Windows machines that are from 2 different companies, which I am going to call Company 1 and Company 2 (but the license is from Company 1). Now my license is about to expire and I need to renew it but only for Company 1 computers. I need to separate the computers that are from Company 2, about 100 computers, so that when the license is renewed these 100 computers from Company 2 will not use it. I've been trying to uninstall the license of these 100 computers from Company 2 but I can not find what to do. Do you know what options I have to achieve this?
  2. The method used for installation was described in my first post: The agent (Win 7 x64) was previously installed via GPO as indicated in this guide.https://help.eset.com/era_admin/65/en-US/fs_agent_deploy_gpo.html Of course that the machines has a connection with the server.
  3. Unfortunately this is not a suitable solution for me, as I have hundreds of computers. Besides, it's not that this happens to me in a single client, it happens to me in every single computer. I don't understand why I can't uninstall or upgrade the agent the same way I installed it. Gabriel
  4. C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator does not exists: ESET Remote Administrator Agent does not exist on services.msc console nor task manager show any process of this service. However, the agent is still installed and cannot be uninstalled or updated.
  5. I have an error when trying to uninstall ERA Agent 6.5 which is preventing me from not only uninstalling it normally from the Control Panel but also from updating it from a Software Installation type GPO. The agent (Win 7 x64) was previously installed via GPO as indicated in this guide. https://help.eset.com/era_admin/65/en-US/fs_agent_deploy_gpo.html I also cannot upgrade to version 7.1 via GPO due to this same error; and I need perform upgrade via GPO. I followed this post and attached the logs obtained so please assist me in a solution of this problem. Best regards Gabriel install.log
  6. Hello, I want to start a new server using "ESET Security Management Center Virtual Appliance" for Hyper-V server. Then I want to migrate the data from my ERA 6.5 server to the new ESMC 7.1 server and finally removee ERA 6.5 server leaving only ESMC 7.1. You would be running everything on one server. Could you please tell me the steps to achieve this? Thank you very much. Greetings Gabriel
  7. @Perry I will try this solution first. Thanks

  10. Hi, I have EEAV 6.6 managed with ERA 6.5. I need to use this setting, but is missing, any ideas?
  11. I have a closed network that does not have internet access, and I want to install EEAV 6.6 on Windows computers and a server with ERA 6.5 (whether it will have internet connection) on the same network. I need to know if I can have my clients fully functional without internet connection, which would include ALL components, engines, signatures, license activations and any other things that have to be downloaded from the internet. Thank you for the info. Best regards Gabriel
  12. I have already created the regular local repository with the MirrorTool. I have it in a shared folder using Windows Share. Could you tell me where the policy for using this Windows shared folder as an update repository for EndPoint 6.6 is specified? Thank you very much. Gabriel
  13. Exactly this " msi installer with install_config.ini configuration file (in ERA called GPO installer) "
  14. This didn't work for me in the end. Although the installed agent was not listed, it could not be reinstalled (it is as if it were already installed). I had to remove it with the tool esetunninstaller.exe
  15. In my case the key are: {41F12F70-5FA9-43F5-94F4-53B54EB4EEC4} And yes, the reference in control panel disappeared.
  16. Y will try... I add that the installation of the agent is done by GPO. Does he have anything to do with this?
  17. I only have the agent installed on my test PC. I didn't install the antivirus. I don't have another antivirus installed. After the supposed successful uninstallation, I see that the service has indeed disappeared. What does not disappear is the reference in Control Panel / Programs and features. It's not so bad now, but I'd like to fix it anyway. Regards Gabriel
  18. Okay. I'll try to get the addresses out of there. I don't use at the moment squid or anything similar. Thank you very much. P.S.: If you have a clean list even better.
  19. Hello everyone, I need to be able to uninstall the agent for windows, version 6.5.522 from the control panel. I do the whole process as a local administrator and it tells me that it has been successfully uninstalled, but the agent is still installed. I don't have it password protected. What I did notice is that even though it is not uninstalled, this operation is no longer updated in my ERA server panel. How can I trace the cause of this "error"? Any help is welcome. Best regards Gabriel
  20. Hello, everyone.I currently use Eset Remote Administrator Server 6.5, with the Windows Agent version 6.5 and ESET EndPoint Antivirus 6.6. I have a computer network with limited access to the Internet. I need to know the DNS and/or ports of ESET's servers to create the relevant firewall rules so that my computers can be properly activated and updated from ESET Servers on Internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards Gabriel
  21. Thanks for the answer. Additional question: The Mirror tool only downloads virus definitions, not PCUs and LiveGrid data. If I create a full offline repository, it includes PCUs and LiveGrid data updates? I await your comment. Thank you Best regards Gabriel
  22. Hello, everyone. I currently use Eset Remote Administrator Server 6.5, with the agent version 6.5 and Eset endpoint Antivirus 6.6. At the moment the computers are updated from the internet and the license is activated via the internet. I need my computers to be upgraded from the server (because they don't have an internet connection) as well as to activate the license without an internet connection. Can someone help me with the necessary settings? Thank you very much! Best regards Grabriel
  23. Thanks guys! Is very easy Kind regards. Gabriel
  24. Hi, I'm doing a consult. I have a virtualized ERA server over Windows server 2012. Actually I use windows agent 6.5 and EEAV 6.6. I have the agents deployed and my entire PC park is working fine. Now, I'm going to make a change of AD Domain. The server will then change its name and IP address. What are the previous steps that you recommend me to do to minimize the work required for my clients (agents) to be correctly configured after making the changes in my server? Thanks for any tip. Best regards! Gabriel
