  1. Sure, it's always the same. The user installs the Agent with "sudo bash EraAgentinstaller.sh", and then when it connects to our ERA, it gets into a dynamic group that triggers the EES installation task. We usually remove both, just to be on the safe side, but for example, today, it was enough to reinstall the EES remotely to fix the issue.
  2. Hi, we have two Linux machines (Ubuntu 17.10 and 18.04) running ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition 4.0.85.0. Both of them are connecting to our ERA fine, it was installed remotely by the agent, etc..., but for some reason, they cannot update their virus signature database. One of them is stuck on 16037 (20170906), the other one is on 15366 (20170505). I've tried running the module update task, and it ran fine. Do you have any idea what can cause this? It doesn't matter what network they are on. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I've the following issue that comes back from time to time on different machines. In this case right now, we have a user, who is on Mac OS X 10.13.3. In, ERA (ESET Remote Administrator (Server), Version 6.5 (6.5.522.0), ESET Remote Administrator (Web Console), Version 6.5 (6.5.388.0) on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (64-bit), Version 6.3.9600), in the computer list it shows that there are no security products installed, and the installation task has failed. But if I go into the computer details view, it actually shows in the "Eset security products" part, that the client (ESET Endpoint Security 6.5.600.1) and the agent (ESET Remote Administrator Agent 6.5.376.0) is installed, and if I go the user's computer, it is actually running perfectly fine (but not activated). However, because ERA thinks otherwise, it won't let me activate it remotely (the task becomes "planned: no" status). Sometimes it lets me run the installation task again remotely, and then after deleting the user from console, it usually comes back in a fixed state. Removing the user without reinstall doesn't fix it alone. Do you have any idea why is this happening? The only solution that I could come up is to remove the installations manually, and install it again. That usually fixes it, but it's really frustrating, since it's not an individual case. Thanks!
  4. Description: Alternative two factor authentication methods Detail: I think there should be multiple two factor authentication methods, like support for the free (and maybe the paid) version of Authy, Google Authenticator, etc...
  5. My issue is that's hard to find computers that are not assigned to anyone. Let's say there is a fresh install, and it goes into the pool, but I don't necessarily know which one it is, but I definitely want to assign it to a user. For example, I had 25 computers today and only 24 were assigned to actual users, but I had to go through each computers one by one to figure out which one is not assigned.
  6. Description: Show assigned user in computer list Detail: There should be a column that should show the assigned user in the computer list
  7. Thank you! Do you have a rough idea when the new version will be released? Are you shooting for Q1, Q2...?
  8. Yeah, I was thinking of the search box on the right top, it would be nice if it had more options, like MAC or SN, so it would be easier to find computers based on already known / usually fix parameters.
  9. Description: More advanced search function Detail: It would nice if we were able to search other parameters as well, like serial number, or MAC address ----------- Description: Assign computers from usermanagement Detail: I think there should be a feature where I can assign or remove multiple computers from a user's details page - right now you can only do it from the computer's details page ----------- Description: Jump to computer from usermanagement Detail: I think it would be nice if I could easily jump from a user's details page to the computer's details page easily, and I wouldn't have to look it up separately.
  10. Description: List devices without assigned users Detail: Currently, I think there is no way to list the devices without assigned users. You can only see the other way around (users without assigned devices).
  11. Thank you for the fast response! I meant the ESET Remote Administrator Agent, because that's the one that the user has to install. We can make sure by manually changing the tasks that always the latest security product (endpoint) is deployed. It would be nice to always have the latest security product installed, and some auto update feature, but I can see it why it's not there (although, it could be an option). Will it include the certificate, server ip, etc... as well embedded? That is the main one that we are having issues without any explanation. I would like to generate a report with the static group, mac address, serial number, manufacturer, model, computer name, computer description and the assigned user for example. It's probably something that involves multiple data source on the server side, but it would be a more meaningful/usable report to combine different sources.
  12. Description: IdP provider (like Okta, OneLogin, etc..) or SCIM support for user synchronisation Detail: Modern, big companies doesn't necessary have classic AD and/or LDAP servers anymore. They are using Google Suite, different IdP providers, etc... to manage their users. It would be nice to see support for these systems, either individually, or though SCIM, which is a supported by almost every one of them (including Google). ----------- Description: SaaS ERA service from ESET for larger companies (more than 300 users) Detail: It would be nice to see a SaaS ERA solution from ESET for companies with more than 300 users, since lots of companies live in the cloud now, and they don't want to run their own servers. ----------- Description: Agent installer that installs the latest version by default Detail: I think there should be an option to create an installer that would always install the latest version of the agent. I know you can modify the bash script, but still... Especially now since it even checks the checksum of the file. ------------ Description: Agent installer that is not a bash script / bat file Detail: It's really hard for some users to ran bash scripts or bat files (it's a big point of failure at install even with a step by step guide) as administrator, so it would be nice to see a way to generate an actual installer that would elevate itself to the necessary rights, and take care of everything. ------------ Description: More detailed task status Detail: It would be nice to see why certain task has failed, or what's the actual status of it in a more detailed way, etc... ------------ Description: More advanced/combined reporting Detail: It's really hard to get nice reports out of the interface with all the details that are otherwise there on the computer details page. It would be a good thing to have a more advanced reporting system ------------ Description: Dynamic group reevaluation trigger on server side Detail: After modifying a dynamic group, you have to wait until the client connects again for the computer to get into that group. It would nice to have a button that would reevaluate the computers if the rule is based on something that is already known by the server, like the installed agent version, etc... ------------ Description: Failure reporting system Detail: With High Sierra, ESET gets blocked a lot, but there are other reasons as well when the installation fails or when the endpoint is not running. It's really hard to see these cases from the console, even thought the endpoint detects it, and informs the user. It would be nice to have an interface, that would show us the problematic computers, why the endpoint is not deploying/running as it should, etc...
