  1. Connected Home Monitor shows devices being connected to WiFi SSIDs that they are in fact not connected to. How is this corrected so this works accurately. Program is at the current version.
  2. I had my laptop setup on another account. I tried to do a theft test but it just hung. I opted to delete it since I wanted setup on the account with my mobile devices. But, I'm not getting any option to add it. I've done this before. Not sure if the old account is hung or if it's because my laptop ESS is logged in under this account and not the one the mobile devices are using. They're licensed under separate accounts. I got back and I cannot add back to the original ESS anti theft account. Weird.
  3. My mobile devices are tied to one email account and my laptop another (for licensing). Is it possible to have them both under one Anti-Theft account. So far I'm not having luck.
  4. Agreed. The only workaround that I know that might work is put it in automatic mode.
  5. Then they must update about once a week or every two. This are Microsoft Windows applications doing this. Parts of the OS, Win10.
  6. I prefer to use the interactive mode so I know more of what's going on with my small network at home. However, it seems weekly that some MS item is always asking for access/approval that I've given the ok to before. IE: phone, photo...these sorts of things from Microsoft. Is there something I'm overlooking. Other things I've set seem to be fine and not continuing to ask/request. Currently on the latest version but this has been going no since about v12.
  7. How did you do your upgrade? Through the previous version or did you do a complete uninstall and then install the current version?
  8. Would like to get feedback if users feels it's a go to do this upgrade or to hold off for a while? Also, if/when upgrading do so through the Update Product Now option in my current version 11.2.63.0 or uninstall it and then install 12.0.27.0. I imagine exporting the config file first and then importing if doing the latter. I'm using Eset Smart Security Premium.
  9. Okay, so it sounds like it's very safe to just run the "upgrade" process within v10. In the past this didn't seem the case. Also, it's recommended to move forward with v11? Just want to avoid issues. Thanks!
  10. Just checking in again that more time has past. There are three of use about to update but I'm the "guinea pig" that goes first. have any issues coming up with the latest version of ESET Smart Security Premium to cause me to hold off? I assume a complete removal and reinstall is still the best option when upgrading to a new version? If so what is the process to export the config file from v10 that I can then import to v11? Thank you!
  11. I always like to check in with the forum before doing the major upgrades. I'm using ESET Smart Security Premium v10 and not seeing any issues. I think it's wise to upgrade to the latest but not if there are kinks to be worked out yet. What are the thoughts about moving to v11? Do it or wait a while? Thanks!
  12. Best to uninstall v9 and then install v10? Seemed to be the rule in the past for things to go well. Or does the upgrade go really smoothly now?
  13. Is it worth the upgrade to ESS v10.0.390.0 or best to stick with v9.0.408.0? I don't mind doing upgrades unless of course I can avoid headaches. Is v10.x ready or need more time or is it worth the ugprade.
  14. How do I go about doing this? Also, can you confirm these are Microsoft, sync.malwareprotecionlive.com/home/event and cloud.malwareprotectionlive.com, and it's there malware software.
  15. Are people generally removing the MS app or can it be removed?
  16. The last couple of days I've been getting multiple pop ups from Eset blocking addresses for sync.malwareprotecionlive.com/home/event and cloud.malwareprotectionlive.com. ESS v9.0.381.0 Last update was 8/4/2016 @ 6:32:24 AM with dbase version 13909 (20160804)
  17. I'm working on migrating to Win10 from Win7 (swappable HDDs). I have ESS v8 running on Win7 and ESS v9 running on Win10. I'm not using Win10 much just slowly getting apps installed that I want. Thought I'd check in and see if v9 is the way to go yet or if people are still waiting. Considering installing it on Win7.
  18. 0 in quarantine. And when I move back to the Scan it's as everything has reset and you have to start over. She was on Facebook last night and went to click on an article post from a friend. Didn't respond so she clicked a second time. Three Inbound Threats (Warning...what have you) popped up. She did a Smart Scan and found 18 threats but no way to clean them. I've re-scanned with the same method and here's the screenshot. Also, if I set and watch the Eset scan screen, that shows the 18 threats, it switches back to the main Scan screen on it's own like I never initiated the scan (see second screen shot). And by the way the same thing happens with a Custom Scan and choosing the Run as Admin option (I checked all boxes for scan). The Custom showed 24 Threats but I did not catch it going back to the default Scan screen like the Smart Scan had done. Pasted log below from Custom Scan.
