  1. Would installing an ad blocker free up the URL? If not then applying an exception to the URL would seem the logical choice.
  2. If you have a valid licence, why do you not just create a trouble ticket?
  3. If they are evaluated in order, you allow one address then deny any. Try deny first then allow second.
  4. Never used Win Linux. It seems like blasphemy. I prefer CYGWIN.
  5. " These are really old computers that are used for a single task, they're over 10 years old and have 1 GB RAM and 80 GB hard drives. Not really worth the money to upgrade. " If you are still using them then they ARE worth the money to upgrade. Logically, if you are using systems that perform a specific task and that task is a business-critical thing then the driving software should be updated. If it is not possible to do this then the policy that these systems operate from is outdated and needs correcting. To recap: either they are not worth updating in which case they are not worth keeping. Or, they are necessary systems and, therefore, the time and money required to update should be set to it.
  6. None of the responses addresses the original question regarding the letter case of the URL.
  7. Why would you want to deploy remote administrator agent if you will be unable to remotely administer any system that is running it?
  8. Linux = command line. Windows = mouse + clickclick
  9. It is not necessary to add any GiB of software, only a link to where the software repository can be found. Try following this article. https://www.wikihow.com/Add-Repositories-in-Linux
  10. I have had some web alerts on a guest system with ESET on the host. Have also had alerts regarding PUPs when downloading a file onto a guest from the 'net.
  11. I had a power outage at home and when power was restored my bios clock had reset. The date difference causes Smart Security, etc to flag all websites, certificates, etc as invalid. It took me some clicks to realise it was the clock that was the problem. However, now a few sites do not show images or comments, etc as I had blocked a few things which looked suspicious and ESET declared were invalid/unknown certificates but were not. It would be a good idea to clearly indicate that the clock may be the problem (time synchronisation). This surely cannot be a problem to achieve if the ESET software can figure out that a datestamp for a certificate may be out of synch. As an aside, how do I now fix the blocked links I previously clicked?
  12. @TomFace https://www.grammarly.com/blog/who-vs-whom-its-not-as-complicated-as-you-might-think/
  13. It would be helpful to have a gui which retained settings to the point that adjusting the display to be able to actually see things time and again does not become a chore or detract from the validity of the tools themselves.
  14. I agree that NOT being able to resize the GUI window is a complete nightmare. It is very unhelpful.
  15. Marcos, it clearly states TRANSLATION. Your comment is redundant and I would posit that the poster's primary language is NOT English. If there is a Thai website then maybe you can direct her there otherwise, she (and others) is posting in the only place available as a non-English speaker where a relevant site suited to a person's native tongue is not possible.
  16. This is from a similar topic. (Not my answer). https://superuser.com/questions/538257/why-are-there-so-many-files-in-c-programdata-microsoft-crypto-rsa-machinekeys Disable SSL Scanning in ESET, and it should stop creating a lot of files in there.
  17. Why do you not have a modem/router between you and the wall outlet? Surely it is highly dubious to be directly connected to the outside without some extra form of wall to protect any connected system?
