  1. As of last week I experienced a problem in Outlook 2010 using IMAP. (Windows 10, Outlook 2010, Eset Antivirus V10) The IMAP folder sync process could not finish in good order. It looked like Outlook freezes/hangs after starting. So I installed outlook 2016 after having updated Windows 10, but no improvement. I discovered that everything worked well after disabling all ESET antivirus functions. Thus being it a problem caused by the Eset Antivirus. I tried some things and: The fact is that after I disable "IMAPS control" my Outlook works fine. SO in: Internet Security, Emailclient security/protection, click the Advanced settings pictogram. In the advanced settings, Emailclientsecurity, scroll down to Email protocols and expand using the + sign Disable the IMAPS-control and save it by clicking OK Question to Eset: Is this going to be fixed?
