  1. I had a similar problem but it was not just "visual". Warning boxes popping up from Eset, and exclamation point on Eset icon in the System Tray. Then I notice my System time was almost 3 months behind! Fixed the Time, then rebooted, but that did not change the incorrect Eset update status. Not an Eset expert, but this worked for me. Right-click Eset icon in System Tray and select Advanced Setup, choose Updates on the left panel, then Rollback on the right. From the Rollback drop-down select "Until Revoked". Reboot, then go into Advanced Setup/Updates again. Under Rollback menu list, where it used to say "Rollback" it now says "Allow Updates" Chose Allow Updates and then I rebooted again, then went to Updates from the basic Eset page and it downloaded about ten updates and it was all fixed. No more pop-ups warning me and exclamation point gone from Eset icon! Sam
