I don't know how the Webcam Protection could've caused it because Webcam Protection can disallow or allow the camera to turn on. But my webcam mic is louder, tested it through Audacity after having turned Webcam Protection off and rebooting. (I have rebooted before, the reboot didn't fix it)

Yesterday, my microphone is fine for everyone I talked to on Discord. Today, ESET Smart Security updated and my mic suddenly reduced in quality and volume. ESET most likely caused this because I have not installed or changed any settings in the past 2 weeks. Is there a way to rollback an update? My microphone is dead quiet even if I increase the volume of it on Recording Devices.
