I installed the free trial of Parental Security for Android on my son's AT&T GoPhone (a TCL Alcatel 4060A). Upon initial installation and configuration of the app, it is working as expected. I am unable to view inappropriate sites or blocked apps. However, whenever I turn off the phone and turn it back on, the parental control app doesn't run (I don't see the "Protection enabled" banner in the notification area). I need to go to the apps list and click it, and go through setting Parental Control to "On" every time. This seems completely counter-intuitive to me. It should be running all the time behind the scenes, no? Otherwise what good is it?
The app is set up as a device administrator.
Is there anything I'm missing?
