  1. Hi Marcos & The Whole ESET Team, I want to apologize publicly for my snippy replies to this thread. Had a really bad week and both issues hit at the worst possible time. No excuse, I was wrong. I've been a happy ESET user for many years and I do understand the challenges you guys face with your software. I re-installed again and played around with all settings and found disabling Advanced email client processing prevented the error and his plugin now works again. Was getting Access violation in module AladEL65.dll which is located in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AladEL65.dll Again, sorry for my unprofessional replies.
  2. Man I am so bummed! I have loved and recommended ESET for many years. Afraid those days are now over. Not only keepass, but it's killed an old plugin from Aladin's in Outlook on a friend's machine. Turn off everything in ESET and still occurs. Uninstall ESET and everything works. Reinstalled and problem back. Guess I'm done. Sad day!
  3. Why do we now have "Infected" folder PLUS "Detected" folder added to Outlook? Really starting to think ESET may be going the way of many others. Bloated and crappy coding.
  4. Looks like this worked. Every time I disconnected a USB drive the gui window would open. Also opened after updates to definitions. Renamed the .dll and so far no popups when mounting and disconnecting USB drives. Will have to wait to see if it stops after definition updates as it updated earlier.
  5. Just popped up again. Checked the time of latest update and sure enough, it had just updated.
  6. Spoke too soon. Seems to occur every time I log in now after my monitor times out.
  7. Hasn't occurred since I posted yesterday. Only thing I did yesterday was switch off and back on Alert windows under Alerts & Notifications.
  8. Happening here too. Came in this am and the eset screen was up. Thought I may have hit the icon in the taskbar without realizing it. Now it just popped open on its own while working in another program. Email client was not open at the time. Aggravating.
  9. Just registered a new install. Didn't enable email notifications due to this mess. Once I'm done with the licenses I have I'm really thinking of switching to Fsecure. Really upset at the lack of response from ESET. Have recommended them for years to my clients but lately it seems they just don't care!
  10. Yes, really disappointed in Eset's response to this issue.
  11. Hate to say it but after a few years of happily using ESET on about 35 systems I have given up. Spent the last few days installing and uninstalling only to find my issues were due to ESET. No, not going to waste time sending dumps. Going to spend it installing something else.
