  1. Hello Everybody, Kaspersky advertises that its cloud detection (ksn) detects and responds to new threats inside the community in 40 seconds, and bitdefender's reaction is mentioned as 3 seconds (advertised in home page), we couldn't find a similar info regarding eset's live grid. Eager to know the reaction time of eset's live grid.. And is it practically possible to detect new malwares within the network within such a low duration of 3 seconds ? or is it just a marketing gimmick ? And does the number of participants in the network, eset(110 million) which is less when compared to Bitdefender (500 Million),Kaspersky (400 Million) and Avast (400 Million) impact the detection capabilities ?
  2. Dear Eset 1.The following message is displayed in the banking and payment protection browser each time.: With this browser being sanboxed, and safe in every way why is it that one should use the browser for banking and payment purposes only ? 2.Is it ok to install and enable addons (password managers, and adblockers) in this browser? Waiting for a reply from @Marcos Thank you..
  3. Every year the top spot in this category of test(along with false alarm tests ) is grabbed by eset (propably its been kept reserved lol ). No wonder millions of people rely on eset. It is the lowest foot print that eset has maintained for decades, running pc's butter smooth with extremely low false positives. Keep up the good work Eset.
  4. Thank you Marcos. The problem has been resolved.. Also can you answer my few questions given below ? 1.Does EAV or ESS have an option similar to Avast's Hardened mode and Kaspersky's Trusted Application Mode ? Just asking this because it might be useful to my novice customers. 2.The earlier versions of eset show's the update info after a successful update, but not in the latest version. How to re enable that feature ?. I'd prefer this as it gives a visual clue that the program is being updated to the latest version.
  5. Dear Eset users, I'm getting this error message during the installation of eset nod 32 64bit version on my windows 7 sp1 pc. Kindly take a look at the attached screen shot for better understanding. Please let me know what went wrong. Thanks.
  6. Dear Eset users, hxxp://www.amazon.in/ESET-Multi-Device-Total-Security-User/dp/B01LZS0EBV?tag=googinhydr18418-21 My eset smart security is about to expire. In the above link its been mentioned in the product details that it'sa multi device product. I would like to know how many devices in each category (O.S) can be used. I use a laptop and a desktop running windows and an an android phone. Can i use this product in all the three of the devices. I don't use a linux or mac device. And what if i start using an android based tablet ?. Please let me know..
  7. I don't think the upgrade will do any good, as eset's anti-spam is not supported with mozilla thunderbird anymore. Only option left is to move to a different e-mail client like M.S. Outlook.
  8. Thank you for letting me know..Actually ive started the topic with antispam. I should have posted this topic in a separate thread. Any way thanks for your reply.
  9. Dear Macros, The new ransom-ware threats seem to be scary. Does Eset smart security protect me from the latest ransomware known as wanna cry and petya ?. Please check the screenshot attached. I am using the 64 bit version of windows 7 in my laptops and Desktops. Please let me know. Govind.
  10. Thank you Marcos. Does this mean that there is no way to use Thunderbird with eset anti-spam ?. Or should i switch to a program like MS Outlook to get supported. And please let me know what are the 3rd party anti spam add-on that are available.. Thank you..
  11. Hello Eset users, I am using the latest version of Eset Smart Security Version 10. and Mozilla Thunderbird (version 45). It seems there is no antispam module/plugin support for this version of thunderbird. So what could be the ideal solution, to use thunderbird with eset smart security ? . Should i have to downgrade my thunderbird to a lower version ?. If yes, please let me know the last version of thunderbird that is supported by the Eset Anti-spam modules. Thanks in Advance.
