Would this method keep all existing exclusions and settings from either versions 4.2.64-4.2.76 when installing? Would like to update but avoid problems we had installing some tools that were automatically detected and quarantined when first installing.

I have a user who is having items quarantined since the 10th by the startup scanner. I'm not sure if this is a legitimate threat or not and what steps to take.
