  1. I installed a new ESA instance yesterday at another of our locations for redundancy purposes.  On the main server we have had for over two years now, I used Amazon Coretto in place of java.

I did not see that listed any longer on the install website for ESA.  So I used OpenJDK version 13 as per your website.  Today I have received a few errors stating the following.

An error occurred while setting ElasticClient. Server: ServerNameHere

In event viewer I see the following.

Do you have any advice on this or should I just open up a support ticket?

    Thanks!

That's correct, however, we recommend at least some of the computers in each company's network to update from the pre-release channel so that you can detect and report possible issues before a module is distributed to all users and machines.

Thanks Marcos.  Sounds like a good idea.  Is there an easy way to apply a separate policy to just a handful of machines?

I didn't find those folders and processes listed among recommended exclusions for MS Exchange at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/antispam-and-antimalware/windows-antivirus-software?view=exchserver-2019 or https://support.eset.com/en/kb3078 which is the list used in ESET for automatic exclusions but will double check with developers.

Yeah it just was announced this week so it is not on that MS page at least yet.  Thanks for looking into it.

  4. This week, there was an update released for EFDE.  I pushed the update out to a handful of end users after testing.  I had the update set to postpone the reboot for one hour.  The end users received this notification.  But after doing absolutely nothing with it, the endpoint rebooted within one minute vs. one hour.  Tested this again myself and I was able to replicate the problem.

    Bug?
