Yes, but the update to v10 has not been released yet afaik, but should be available later this month if I remember correctly

Are there any reasonable idea behind why you are using Eset Mail Security for Exchange on a terminal server?
I suppose you are using an Exchange server for RDS as well?
-
Sorry, i use onprem Protect console

We use Datto ourselves, and have just created an AIO installer with agent only.
then we create a component in Datto and execute it with following command
EsetAgent.exe --silent --accepteula

I guess it is not considered an antivirus solutions job to change the behavior of the OS, especially when it’s not security related like in this case.
When using the new auto update feature, it does not matter that a true reboot might take several weeks to happen, as it is fully protected in the mean time
-
Since Windows 8 a shutdown and startup is not the same as a reboot, but kind of a light hibernation.
if you do a reboot from the start menu it will work as well.
As karlisi mentioned, disabling fast boot will revert to the old behavior.
Theres not much else to do about it as it is behavior by design from Microsoft

Could it be that the mailbox is shared with other users, or setup on multiple computers , some of which is still running an old version?
that is the only way it makes sense.

As far as I know it is updated every time the agent is connecting to the manager

I think the OP asks regarding Server Securty / EFSW?
-
You can just get the standard but it doesn’t matter how many databases you have, it is the number of mailboxes
-
Hi
You need a license for every mailbox.
you can find more information here

I guess you can either create a hips rule blocking execution of the OneDrive application.
otherwise you can create a dynamic group of computers with OneDrive installed, and simply send them an uninstall job a group join. This way OneDrive would be uninstalled automatically if someone reinstalled it.
A third option would be to block network traffic to the domains/ips hosting the OneDrive services, however that may also block access to to other o365 services, so I would go with option one or two.
the better option would to create a gpo to block the usage of OneDrive, however that requires a domain/Intune or other management system

We do not use slack but are heavy users of teams, and automatic mode has always worked for us.
Are you sure you do not have a conflicting policy?
-
Hi
This is because Outlook is using the protection status from Windows Security Center, which is not included in Windows Server OS, so it does not work on terminal servers (regardless of which AV is used)
You can disable it manually though
-
Yes, to do that, you just send an install task with the new version
-
That has always been unstable to me, with or without Eset installed.
-
Hi
Protect_installer_x64_us.exe --silent --accepteula
should do the trick, but why would you install a AIO installer on a device that already has the agent installed?
Have you tried to just use an install task instead?
-
I see this from time to time when installing a new server.
It seems like the policy to not show the error first applies at next reboot?
Have you tried to reboot it?

I cant tell for sure if it works on android.
The users i have been in touch with are ios users.

Great thanks!
It is quite a big issue for us, as the client used is radius, so it is only configured to allow Push messages, so no one can connect right now,
Upgrade File Server Security on 2016 Terminal Server
in ESET Products for Windows Servers

You dont have to put it in install mode.
When upgrading there are basically 2 ways, simply use the official installers downloaded from Eset.com and they will retain their existing settings and connection to the protect manager.
Or simply use the manager
