  2. Still waiting for the fixed 6.5 Installer to be available
  3. So will the module be updated through normal updates. I have the firewall set to Automatic mode?
  4. This discussion seems to have gone quiet. Has the problem with the faulty Network/Firewall module been fixed?
  5. I am using Windows 10 64 bit version 1703, with the latest ESET 10 version So are we getting closer to sorting this problem out permanently, instead of all the workarounds? Are the software team aware of this? I'm sure there are numerous users out there, that are oblivious whether they have a problem, as no alarm is flagged on the ESET taskbar icon!! It's obviously the firewall rules that are the issue, so why is it taking so long to fix this? I have deleted all rules, but can't add any new ones without the problem returning. I have tried Interactive mode but get so many annoying 'Outbound network traffic' alert pop ups I have gone back to automatic without any rules. Come on ESET sort it out for good, before you lose lots of customers
  6. I had one rule with the filtering mode set to Automatic. I have deleted that rule rebooted and all looks good at the moment. There is also another option called 'Also evaluate rules from Windows Firewall'. How is this supposed to be set. Mine is set to 'On'. Is the correct?
  7. Well that didn't last long. It's back again after a few reboots!! Think we need Marcos on the case to escalate this bug to the software team to get it sorted
  8. Quite simply, every time I boot my PC I will check the ESET GUI to see if everything is ok
  9. As this seems to be a system problem I have done something drastic. I have done a clean Install of the new Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 1703 version. All programs Installed and latest ESET 10. All working ok at the moment. Will monitor over the coming days
  10. I have the same problem. Tried all suggestions but still keeps happening, but not all the time. I am using the latest Version 10 and I am running Windows 10 Pro. Any more help would be appreciated. ESET version 8 was working fine but decided to upgrade to 10, now thinking of going back to 8!!. If I click on Personal Firewall this is what options I have, Disable Permanently, obviously not right
  11. I have found a way to stop upgrade notifications to upgrade to version 9 on ESET 8.
