I tried what Aryeh posted and nothing was fixed.

Thanks for the advice Aryeh but none of it works I guess i'll have to do a fresh install again.

When I try to update my definitions it says "error creating temporary file". I have tried to clear the temp folders but with no luck. When I try to uninstall ESS it comes up with an error code of 2203. Any help here would be great. Thanks.
