  9. Hello @bEeReE, I checked it, sadly the release was delayed as we wanted to fix bugs found after the recent macOS update. Peter
  10. Hello guys, the EPNS servers are now fully open to accept new connections, the ESET products should reconnect automatically. The teams involved are closely monitoring the situation on EPNS and related services as well. Thank you for your patience during this period of degraded quality of EPNS service. Peter
  11. Hello, I can confirm that Dev and DevOps are still actively pursuing the issue. During the night / in the morning (CEST) it seemed promising, sadly the service hasn't still recovered fully. Peter

  13. The client tries to reconnect automatically, so the issue should resolve soon. Once the client is connected, it maintains the connection to the EPNS infrastructure.
  14. Hello guys, the situation went back to normal at around 22:30 CEST on April 24, the teams responsible are monitoring it, so far it seems stable. Peter

  16. Hello guys, The fix is being deployed into the production and requests to connect to the EPNS service are being throttled to keep the load under control. So the situation is improving, but it will take some time to restore the full EPNS functionality in a controlled manner. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this Peter on behalf of the teams involved

  18. Hello @ecayton I can confirm that the issue is ongoing and the teams responsible are actively pursuing it. I have the notification on unreachability of the EPNS myself as well now. @LawrenceM the hostnames / IPs used by ESET are listed at https://support.eset.com/en/kb332-ports-and-addresses-required-to-use-your-eset-product-with-a-third-party-firewall as ESET HQ resides in Slovakia / EU I would not recommend to block traffic heading to Slovakia, as we have a hosting service here. I understand that you want to be cautious, I would recommend to use the ESET Bridge for the ESET related traffic as it has the rules built in... https://help.eset.com/ebe/1/en-US/index.html Peter
  19. Hello guys, I can confirm that the service had intermittent outages. A change, which should improve the situation server side is already deployed on few servers and should be deployed the the remaining ones in upcoming days. Peter
  20. Hello @tommy456, Yes I can confirm that some of our customers might have experienced such issues today. It will be resolved by our teams, without any interaction required from customers side. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Peter
  21. Hello @Kosal, the product is not needed anymore especially thanks to improvements in the ESET LiveGrid reputation system. make sure it is enabled and working and you may decommission the Shared Local Cache appliance... Peter
  22. If possible, please try to get the logs from it to check it with the support team. I have found one report with such behavior, but it was fixed in the 1.8 release, so this is probably other issue which will have to be investigated from the logs properly...
  23. I understand your point, but I assume that once we would say that, most of the users would understand it as our commitment to do the release. More general topic is a Roadmap, those is being shared with the ESET partner network so they can share data based on it with their customers... Thank you for your words of appreciation. We thank you for being active member of the community on the ESET Forum.
  24. Hello @st3fan, naturally we recommend to upgrade to the latest supported version, if you need to stay with the EP 9.1 for now we recommend to upgrade the Tomcat manually https://help.eset.com/protect_install/91/en-US/upgrading_apache_tomcat.html To mitigate the vulnerability you need to upgrade it locally anyway and the installation binaries are not available on the download site anyway. btw. our QA hasn't performed tests with the EP 9.1 and the latest Tomcat to declare the official compatibility. Peter
