  1. Thank you for the response guys. However I am still opened to solution ideas from mods/devs perhaps . I am a long time fan and user of Eset and I consider buying license in the upcoming months, so it would be a shame if I paid for something that I cannot use. Thanks
  2. Hello guys, first of all I would lke to apologize (because this may be a duplicite problem) but I have deep suspicions that it is not so, hereby the problem: After I installed ESS 9 I was able to launch secure browser in all major browsers (FF, Chrome, IE). Few weeks after that I began to experience problems in Firefox (it was after several FF updates). What started to happen and persists until now is, that everytime I try to open a page that is listed in protected sites list (regardless of whether it is set to normal browser, ask user, or launch secure browser) I am redirected to https://help.eset.com/ess/9/sk-SK/?idh_config_alert.htm I do not get redirected if I turn off the smart browser function as a whole, but there is a second problem that persists regarless (symptoms below). The second symptom that started to appear in FF (and I do believe it is possibly connected) is that (regular) browser sometimes did not start after launching it. Firefox.exe process would start with not window and would only occupy as much as 24-25KB and had few file handles and threads. This began to happend more often until I was not able to launch the browser at all. Workaround (if it could be named that way) was switching to Firefox ESR, but problem there happens (less often but) still. I dare to say that this problem now happens in range of versions of FF if not all. (Just a notice here that I've seen somewhere on the Internet that this could somehow be linked to xul.dll in Firefox.) This second symptom can be also observed when I try to open the secure FF browser from desktop link ("ecmd.exe" /startprotectedbrowser) which takes my default FF browser and tries to open secure browser through it. Again about 25KB in memory, 4 threads and about 100 file handles but no window opens like before. I have tried to import manually the ESET SSL certificate now (just in case) and FF reported that it is already there. I also (based on ESS redirecting me to site idh_config_alert.htm) tried to get to some possible messages and changed the Information level to Debug level (in UI settings) and also set that messages should be delivered to my user instead of Administrator. Seems that nothing changed in the perspective of this problem. Therefore I humbly accept any ideas. Thank you all in forward. John
