I have the same problem after updating. Does this mean that I now have no virus protection?
Yesterday I renewed my ESET license and today I received an e-mail that a program update was available. I updated the program and then I received a notice that the antivirus protection is non-functional and the scanner initialization failed!! (Please see the attachment for a screen shot of the alert.) I need to know how to correct this situation because my computer is at high risk for a virus infection. Thanks in advance for any and all solutions to this issue.
