  1. Hi, is it possible to expand a license? I ask because as far as i know i have to choose a license to activate from when defining a client task with era but it would be a pain when i have to manage a license with an amount of 200 and lets say another one with an amount of 10, is there a way to merge the complete amount of license to chose for the client task? Regards Jens
  2. Hi, in the dashboard list for clients with old software it lists era itself with in older rogue sensor, howto update this? all i can find is that the rogue sensor has to be updated manually but howto to that with the virtual appliance (cent os 6)? https://i.imgur.com/7fYhNeC.png Regards Jens
  3. Hi, here is the tool, thank you ryan https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/8299/eset-remote-administrator-reset-era-agent-uuid-tool-unofficial Regards Jens
  4. Hi, here is the tool, thank you ryan https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/8299/eset-remote-administrator-reset-era-agent-uuid-tool-unofficial Regards Jens
  5. Hi, no i the more like the ResetAgentUUID.exe Utility, like i said in the end the enduser is building the best solution: https://forum.eset.com/topic/4468-eset-remote-administrator-agent-6-for-image/page-2#entry47884 Possibly the tool will be released to the public... maybe if ryan want to. Regards Jens
  6. Hi, i tried the util and it works like expected, i will talk to ryan if he want to release it to public. Regards Jens
  7. Hi, there is actually another solution from another guy from this forum, he made a binary that will change the uuid in data.db and registry. I will not understand why eset is not giving us the option to reset uuid by commandline (with admin rights) or to set the agent in a state where it gets a new uuid after the next boot, all this would be something really useful for sysprepping but in the end the user is making it's own solution to something eset gives no care. Regards Jens
  8. Hi, generating new uuid is easy by commandline, changing the values in data.db is easy with sqlite3.exe (cmdline) but the data folder is protected by system account, with psexec we can be system to copy the file and or changing permission but i don't want to break security, changing uuid in registry is also easy but all this needs to be tight into a working script. Regards Jens
  9. Hi, nice information that you found out, i am also looking for i nice and quick way to make the agent unique one thing would be installing it post else the eset guys could tell us how they generate the uuid and what the command lines are to trigger the binarys to create/update the db and registry? the db itself is owned by system we can gain access with psexec but instead of doing this on a hackish way eset could help us a little more please. Regards Jens
  10. Hi, i think i understand how this process works but i don't like it, i really need to pay hard attention when using multiple generalized images for deployment, so that non of the clients gets contact to era else i will break my id in the image and the reset task goes to hell. So i would like to ask why that process was done this way? afaik when i add a client to the reset task era will look at the current agent id and will save this in the db now when any other client with this id arrives it will be resetted. Cool idea but please give me an easier process of this. Why not giving us the possibility to read out the id from an agent and let us manually add and or remove those agent id's to the reset process? Today i found out that i broke my reset agent task because one of the images were online twice before i captured the image so the id was renewed, now i have to reimage all the images because i need to uninstall/reinstall the agent to gain a new id and after that catching the new id while adding a new reset task and or adding an additional one. this sucks... sorry Regards Jens
