  1. I have tried submitting a few support request for Windows Server but cannot see them or any status that says pending. What are the rules for new members posting ?
  2. We are using Terminal Server 2012 with User Profile Disks (UPD) this should retain some of the Users files on the Terminal Server they login to plus the roaming profile kept in the UPD. If a problem occurs that the UPD is not available or in use then a temp or backup profile is created and the Users settings are not retained. In order to clean this up you need to remove any user tmp or backup profiles directories I am having a problem removing the old directories as ekrn.exe is holding the user data directory open Filename User Data C:\Users\TEMP.APP.024\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET File Security\x86\ekrn.exe I have tried disabling the AV but the ekrn is keeping it open. Without bouncing the server is there any way to stop ekrn ?
  3. Hi we are using User Profile Disks on our Terminal Servers and unfortunately this method of storing the Users Profiles seems to be a bit flakey. If the UPD. If the UPD is not available or already open when the user logs in then they will get a backup or temp profile created. On trying to clean up the temp and backup profiles I am stuck as I cannot delete the temp profile EG C:\Users\TEMP.APP.024\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data is being held open by process C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET File Security\x86\ekrn.exe I have tried disabling the AV but this does not seem to release the file. Could you advise on how to resolve this
