  1. Learning mode doesn't help. Same problem. I checked the rules, and saw that there are multiple dayz.exe entries: dayz.exe dayz.exe(1) dayz.exe(2) dayz.exe(3) dayz.exe(4) I deleted them all, started the game and the window opened that dayz.exe wants to communicate as it should. I allowed it. Then I also added dayz.exe to the list of applications excluded from check of modification detection. Will report back in three days when dayz will be updated again.
  2. Hi! I'm having problems with DayZ Standalone game, which is updated on a regular basis. I also run ESS with firewall in interactive mode. Everytime DayZ standalone is updated and I start the game, the game hangs when I go to server list. The problem is, I can't even shut it down, as the windows cursor changes to game cursor when my mouse is not over the taskbar. So the only solution is to shutdown and restart my PC. If I start the game with firewall disabled, it works. It also helps if I remove the game from firewall rules as it is then detected and I get the allow/block window. It's annoying though, that I have to do it manually every time the game is updated. Any ideas?
  3. I reinstalled Windows 7 on my laptop and have the same problems with plethora of programs: CutePDF is not recognized by ESS firewall and is blocked, also my e-banking program is not recognized and blocked. I have to disable firewall or manually add the programs to the rules, which makes the interactive mode unusable.
  4. I also installed Steam client today, and same thing happened.
  5. hi! I have the latest Smart Security 7.0.302.26 on a freshly installed Windows 8.1 machine. I have the firewall in interactive mode. I installed Filezilla client, ran it and try to connect to my server with no luck. ESS didn't ask if the communication should be allowed or not, so I had to manually add FileZilla to the application list. Other application are recognized. After I added FileZilla, it connected normally.
  6. It's during normal gameplay, singleplayer and multiplayer

  8. AMS is causing games to stutter. I'm playing a lot of ArmA 2 and if AMS is enabled I'm getting stutters every second or so. If I disable AMS, stuttering is gone.
  9. I received the same problem today. 3 times in a row. The mentioned file was EM008_64_xxxx.dat (xxxx was different each time). I uninstalled ESS and I was able to login. Marcos, I have the minidump
  10. This one did the trick. I tried it on ArmA 2 and Battlefield 3. Both with the same simptoms.
  11. Hi! With the latest Eset Smart Security 7 beta (7.0.104.0) gaming is not possible because of constant lagging/jerkiness every half second or so. Disabling ESS beta doesn't help, only uninstall.
  12. ESET Smart Security Beta on Windows 7 x64 SP1 causes major lags in multiplayer gaming. I think the gaming mode is not working. I had to uninstall not just disable it to be able to play normally.
  13. I just installed ESET Smart Security 7 beta and have to admit that I really like the sleek user interface. Will have to test more to see how secure my computers are
