  1. Hi Protagon, We may need to get some additional info from you to help with the issue of your configuration not being applied after a push install. Have you been able to apply your configuration to client workstations using another method? We have instructions to push a .XML configuration to client workstations in our Knowledgebase article. --CB
  2. Hi Kirk. You can take a look at part II of this Knowledgebase article for instructions to add an exclusion for an IP address as Marcos suggests. --CB
  3. Hi Larry, Have you tried excluding your web browsers from protocol filtering in Endpoint Security? To exclude browsers from protocol filtering, open Endpoint Security and press F5 to access Advanced setup. Expand Web and email > Protocol filtering > Excluded applications. You will see a list of applications on the right. Select the check boxes next to each of your web browsers in the list and then click OK to save your changes. If you do not see your web browsers listed, you may need to add them. To do so, click Add (below the list of applications) and then navigate to the browser you want to add and click Open. Once you have added a program to the list, you can select the corresponding check box to exclude it from Protocol filtering. Give this a try and let me know how it goes for you. --CB
  4. Hi Roger, The changelogs for current ESET products can be viewed on the product details page for each respective product. You can get to this details page by clicking the product name or image on our download page . Here is a link to the product details page for ESS 6. As you'll see, the changelog is shown at the bottom of the page, you will have to click "Show older" to view the changelog for version 6.0.308.0, which is the oldest changelog for ESS 6. --CB530
  5. Hi Protagon, Do you have remote administration enabled for each of the computers running Ubuntu? Our Knowledgebase article Why can't I see client workstations in the client tab of the ESET Remote Administrator Console? has instructions to enable remote administration on client workstations. Give the steps in that article a try, if after completing those steps you are still not able to find your Ubuntu clients, you can try searching using computer name rather than IP address. We cover this technique in method 2 of the Knowledgebase article I cannot see client workstations in the Remote Install tab of the ESET Remote Administrator Console (5.x). Hope this helps. --CB530
  6. Hi All1, It sounds like you've managed to create a small network that includes the PC and laptops. To share folders/drives from your PC with your laptops, you should be able to right-click a folder and under Share with define who exactly you want the folder's contents to be accessible to (everyone, specific people etc.). To read more about file sharing on your network, please see this Microsoft knowledgebase article. Getting your WD TV live and Marantz peripherals past the ESET Firewall will require adding them as exceptions in Personal Firewall settings. I suggest you start with the instructions in SOLN3303, where we detail how to set the Personal Firewall to run in interactive mode. In step 4, give both peripherals a try. You should receive a prompt from ESET asking to allow or deny the communication, if you can use them after selecting allow at the prompt, you've created the rules that you need. Make sure that Remember action (create rule) is selected at the prompt before you click allow or the rules will not be saved. Once you've created your new exceptions, follow through with steps 5-8. If you're not able to get both peripherals working using the method from SOLN3303, there is a similar procedure that we document in SOLN2899. This article will detail how to enable logging for all the connections blocked by the personal firewall. Assuming my first suggestion does not work, follow the steps in this article and again try both devices with the firewall in interactive mode. If more steps are necessary to get both peripherals running, we'll work on getting the log posted here and examining exactly which connections that are being blocked are coming from your peripherals.
