  2. Does anyone from ESET monitor this forum? This is pretty appalling having to wait for an answer with no immediate on hands support available. This happened to me on Fri, 13 May with still no answer. Almost unforgivable
  3. Hey there, I have contacted local ESET support in Sydney who took this away as they do not know the answer and are yet to get back to me with an answer. This is a very unpleasant experience I must admit.

Folks, I have the identical same problem currently on my laptop with the phantom account, and even though I tried reporting my device as not missing a coupla times, I still cannot access my account and folders, Start the computer and after windows finish loading, close the session. That will bring you to the list of available accounts on the PC. Then log into yours. How do you close the windows session? I tried logging out of the phantom account with no luck?

I accidentally recorded my laptop as missing due to suspicious activity since last week, when the phantom account kicked in and since have reported is not missing, but, I still cannot access my normal password protected account and guest account. I am stuck and have had no support from Eset even though calling them and was told to send an email, so that someone from Eset can access my system remotely and fix this issue. This has not happened to date. Extremely frustrating. I cannot access my files, folders, admin access to do anything. Wonder if someone from Eset monitors this forum and provides guidance and support.

I received an email of suspicious activity on my laptop and accidentally hit my device as missing thereby activating my phantom account that I came to understand during a conversation with an Eset consultant a while later. Now I have restored my device as not missing, but, cannot get rid of the phantom account and restore my normal account with access to my file, folders and admin access. I have sent Eset support numerous emails with no call back or support that I am not happy about. Can anyone on this forum please help. Thanks
