  1. Agent: v6.3.136.0 Endpoint Security: v6.4.2014.0 These are the versions we have been installing on all our computers, with no previous issues. Now today, 2 new installs state that the agent has not yet tried to connect, even though Endpoint Security has been installed, and it has the latest virus def file. Also, some previous installs are stating that the agent hasn't connected in 7 days, but those machines also have the latest virus def file. Thanks.
  2. We are running Endpoint Security 6.4 This is in regards to thePotentially Unwanted Application setting. Clients are reporting the Ask Toolbar as the Cause, and the various Objects it finds are many, and in many different folder locations. Does ESET have a preferred method to deal with this Ask toolbar? Thanks.
  3. One user forwarded an email to five internal recipients. All five recipients had email intercepted by the Mail Server Filter and moved to users Outlook Infected Items folder per settings. Why didn't Mail Security intercept this incoming email initially when she received it from the external source? Thanks.
  4. The solution for me via Support, was to 1)stop ERA Server via ERA Maintenance Tool 2)delete Updfiles and Mirror folders in C\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Remote Administrator\Server 3)start ERA Server 4)open ERA Console>Tools>Server options>Updates>select the Clear Update Cache check box>click Update Now
  5. It looks like every 2 hours our failing machines are retrying the update and failing, but like I said, if checked manually after a reboot, it fails immediately.
  6. If I were to reboot a machine with .2260 installed, and then manually tried to update the defs, it would fail. I will reboot a failing machine and report the time required for it to check in and fail.

  8. We have clients running .2248 and .2260, and have some of both that are not getting the definitions. Thanks again.
  9. We still have this issue. Some machines will receive the latest virus definitions, while the majority will not. Has this been stated as fixed, or is this still being worked on? Thanks.
  10. I have Endpoint Security installed on my machine. I was attempting to have my client grab av updates online by entering our license credentials in the update section of my settings. I connected ok, but my client then gave me a warning that my license is for the Endpoint Anti-virus product and it turned off my protection. We normally have our clients update through our server, but I am testing the online method for some remote users. Thanks.
