  1. wait. created a new specific rule, and it works!!!
  2. i made a query in the TMG and the traffic is being blocked by an allow rule... how can this be?
  3. that is a most valid point. but we have laptops. some of which are more than a year away from the office. would they still be able to get updates from eset when not able to reach our server?
  4. I wan't all clients to get updates directly from ESET. I have not configured any (local) mirror. The error i get when manually trying to update is: "Virus signature database update failed".
  5. Hi! After acquiring and installing ESET Endpoint Security for my company, due to internet restrictions most clients can't update. I've added all the sites in the list: hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN332&viewlocale=en_UK to the exceptions, but the problem remains. Is there anything else i need to do?
  6. didn't resolve the issue still happening i've also tried changing the AV defs from clean to quarantine... some emails just get rejected and i can't figure out why...
  7. greylisting is disabled i just reloaded the parameters just in case, but i don't think that's it... will give it a couple of days to see if there's any chnage.
  8. I have the very same issue! Just installed ESET Mail Security For Exchange and i'm getting several reports from several domains of emails that don't even make it to the SPAM folder. They're just being flatout rejected... I'm whitelisting all that io can, but meanwhile some mails may just be lost. Not to mention the extra work this is giving... Is there any way to make sure no mail is rejected and at the very least ends up on the SPAM folder?
  9. Have found a better solution. I installed Endpoint Antivirus instead. Thanks for the help.
  10. Hi! My company just acquired ESET Endpoint Security and while configuring de ERA Server/Console i've come across the following problem: our company has some old computers with very low specs. on those, i would like to disable certain modules, like firewall and antispam in order to reduce resource consumption. is there any way i can do this through the ERA Console? i've tried creating a policy, but i don't see an option to just disable the module... Does anyone has figured out how to do this?
