  1. Thanks for the information. In case the error returns I'll send you the advanced logging. Best regards
  2. Here are the logs generated with ESET Log Collector 4.0. Hope that helps. eis_logs.zip
  3. The version installed is 13.1.21.0. So far there was no further message "Error in update authorization". I suppose that this message does not refer to the frequent virus definition updates but to program updates which take place in greater intervals.
  4. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately for now I cannot reproduce the problem by using the process monitor as I do not get the error message each time I open Eset Internet Security. Just now it did not appear. So I will have to wait until the error message turns up again and then I can activate the process monitor. Also I will send you a screenshot. Best regards sumavax
  5. Hallo, obwohl meine Eset-Lizenzen noch fast drei Jahre gültig sind, erhalte ich immer wieder die Meldung "Fehler bei der Update-Autorisierung". Wie kann man das Problem beheben? Machine translation: although my ESET licenses are still valid for almost three years, I keep getting the message "Error in update authorization". How can you fix the problem?
  6. Thanks very much. The article contains exactly what I was looking for. Best regards sumavax
  7. Hi, I have attached a screenshot. The green hook and the yellow star have meanwhile disappeared but there are still yellow and blue exclamation marks. Hopefully Eset provides a legend somewhere explaining the symbols. Another uncertainty is the meaning of the interrupted lines surrounding a specific network gadget as is the case with "NB-HP-Sabine" in the screenshot.
  8. Hi, can anyone tell me what the symbols mean that you may encounter when you have carried out a network scan? E.g. there are green hooks, blue exclamation marks, yellow stars. Could not find any explanation on the results page. Thank you. sumavax
  9. Hi, I have recently installed ESET Smart Security. This resulted in two new files called "ESET Antispam" and "ESET Antispam (this computer only)" being installed with one of my e-mail accounts in Outlook 2016 (IMAP). Now there is the problem that the mails in the first of these files cannot be deleted. The "ESET Antispam" file does not appear in the list of the IMAP files I am subscribed and thus cannot be removed completely either. Has anybody got an idea how to tackle this problem? Regards sumavax
