  1. Use the mirrorTool (hxxp://help.eset.com/era_install/62/en-US/index.html?mirror_tool_linux.htm) The HTTP Proxy sucks; after weeks of troubleshooting with the supportdesk we did not get this to work on our network. Switched to the Mirrortool and it works in a few minutes. The mirrortool will download the updates to a local folder, share this folder and point your clients to this shared folder.
  2. As an alternative you can place the msi installer files on a fileshare, create an batch file to kick off msiexec (with /qn switch) installing de agent and/ or Endpoint. Using this for the agent will require an transform file (hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3675/?viewlocale=en_US) you can do this remote using Psexec. I used it on our network because the server with Remote Administrator running on it does not have internet access.
  3. Any idea when this update will be released? We have this issue reported months ago an still no answer about the release date!
  4. Hi Moxa, I don`t know what version of Exchange you are running, but try it from Exchange. set up an Transport rule with conditions "From users outside the organization" and "When any attachment file name matches text patterns (filter on .doc and .docx) and create an action. this should do the job. Good luck, Peter
