  1. But you are eliminating valid and useful extensions among them ...
  2. Sorry for my English. At work we opted to disable Chrome's sync feature by running a PROTECT client task with the following command: reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome" /v SyncDisabled /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f I hope you find it useful. Best regards
  3. It would also be useful to be able to ignore link-local addresses for IPv6 that are assigned with the fe80::/64 prefix.
  4. Hi ! Excuse my English. Is there a way to import a blacklist from a .csv file into the RD Sensor policy? At the moment the ability to incorporate IP ranges has not worked and the only way to make it work seems to be loading the IP addresses to ignore one by one, which is very laborious in large networks. Is there a way to do this more easily? Thank you. Best regards Andrés
  5. It will be a major change. Surely the migration process will involve the creation of a new appliance. My choice in such a case would be Debian.
  6. Checking some misconceptions about the subject. Then I comment. Thanks.
  7. Hi ! Sorry my English We have a problem trying to add the exclusion of some executable files to the PROTECT console. Entered the file to exclude, the process throws an error window that says: "Import has failed. Exclusions import error." with a "Retry" button below. We reviewed the server event log and the following message can be seen: 2022-03-28 15:44:56 Error: CPoliciesModule [Thread 7fe4600a8700]: Expected 5 values in CSV row 2022-03-28 15:44:56 Error: ConsoleApiModule [Thread 7fe43e064700]: 33357 Error while processing CreateRules request: Expected 5 values in CSV row This is displayed every time we try to perform the process unsuccessfully. Our product version is as follows: ESET PROTECT (Server), Version 9.0 (9.0.2141.0) ESET PROTECT (Web Console), Version 9.0 (9.0.138.0) Can someone help? Thanks
  8. In particular, I found that implementing ESMC on Linux is some tricky, especially when it comes to the odbc connection. I recommend you install an instance of the appliance via Virtualbox. Best regards.
  9. Hi, I just published a brief guide to ESMC implementation in Proxmox : ESET Security Management Center 7 deployment in Proxmox VE I hope it is useful. Regards
Saludos ! Andrés
  11. Hi Peter, I would like to apply as a tester of the new version for linux. Can you include me in the group? Thank you. Best regards. Andrés
