  1. Our customer using ESET Endpoint Protection Advance in 400 system and Device Control configured with blocked Disk Storage & Portable Device

    He facing issue randomly in some system is stuck off when user is working and Keyboard and Mouse is hang up therefore forcefully shut down and restart it.

    If disable Device Control completely after issue not occurred.

    OS: Windows 10 Pro x64

    Product: ESET Endpoint Antivirus 7.0.2091.0

    So find attached ESET Log Collector log and do needful as soon.

     

  2. ESET NOD32 Antivirus can't install using Live installer and error in bootstrap log.

    [2018.11.30 07:24:13] BTS dbg  Setting property "bts.token.error" to value "20031".
    [2018.11.30 07:24:13] BTS fat  Initialization failed.

    We have check issue in two system (Windows 7 & 8.1), but both same issue
    also trying import certificate https://support.eset.com/kb6208

  3.   We have upgrade ESET Management Agent by ESMC Components Upgrade task, but task failed in some clients and show  trace error 

    1."File already exists 'C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Agent\EraAgentApplicationData\Data\upgrade.json'. Cannot continue with agent upgrade
    2. "ReadUpgradeStatus: Upgrade of Agent from version '6.5.522.0' to '7.0.553.0' failed. Updater ServiceSpecificExitCode is 1603: (0x643), Fatal error during installation"

    So how to resolved issue?

    If not, please add those permissions. It would mean that it is issue we have identified recently and will be resolved in upcoming releases.

  5. We have install ESET Security Management 7 and also install ESET Mobile Device Connector, "Recent update attempts failed" warring massage in ESMC Console.

    Also we try to run Update Module Task with clear update cache, but same issue.

    Found error in trace log from C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\MDMCore\Logs

  6. ESET Endpoint Protection depolyed in 40 systems & excute On-Demand Scan task with daily @11:00 in client task, but scheduled On-Demand Scan task are not triggered automatically in many systems, also ERA clients communicate with server successfully.

    It's not possible to compare scan time between computers unless they have very same files on the disk and the settings are same as well.

    What could take long are large archives, such as iso files as each file in an archive needs to be unpacked and scanned. Try disabling scanning of archives to see how much faster the scan will be.

    Archives scanning already disabled, also check rnv30059.sclgscl.erp system take more time to scanning  instead of other system , see attached scheduled scan report
