  1. I'm about to remove ESET from my computer, and go with another Internet Security solution. I've submitted several support tickets to ESET, but they basically told me I'm on my own to solve the problem (they made no substantial attempt to help me). I've done chats with ESET tech support. No solution. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No change. Here's the problem: For some reason, my ESET Internet Security is not filtering spam found in my GMail addresses. All of the other email addresses I use (that aren't GMail) are filtered for spam. It's only the GMail addresses I'm using that are the problem. I'm running Outlook in Office 365. Version 2311, Build 17029.20108. My ESET Internet Security is up to date. Version 17.0.16.0. The program automatically updates, and in fact just updated 30 minutes before this post. I'm at my wit's end, but I hope someone here can help me before I move on to another Internet Security solution. Thanks.
  2. Junk filter disabled. Problem persists. The interesting thing is the ESET is filtering spam on all of my accounts except one -- the Gmail account. Why would that be? Has Gmail changed an algorithm or something?
  3. And that is the EXACT opposite of the advice ESET gave me in an online chat. When I questioning the support tech, he assured me several times that the Outlook junk filtering was part of ESET's spam filter, and that I should enable it. It's getting to the point of being ridiculous. Only one email address (of several) is not being filtered for spam by ESET, and yet nobody at ESET tech support can provide answers.
  4. I'm having an odd problem. It appears that ESET Internet Security is not spam filtering one of several email addresses I use in Outlook. The email address at issue is a Gmail account. Is it possible that somehow that account has been excluded from spam filtering? How would I check that? (My log files seem to show that ESET is filtering spam on my other accounts...just not the Gmail account.) Thanks!
  5. I'm running Internet Security version 17.0.15.0, with Outlook in Office 365. Over the last couple of days, I've updated my Eset license and installed a program called Metadact to scrub metadata in documents attached to outgoing email. Since one of these two changes (and I strongly suspect it's the installation of Metadact), my Eset spam filter has stopped working. I can left-click on an email and designate it as Spam, but Eset has stopped catching Spam emails automatically. I did a chat with Eset Tech Support, and was advised to change the Junk Mail setting in Outlook. I questioned whether that was associated with Eset's spam protection, and was repeatedly assured it was. Well, the problem of spam not being filtered by Eset persists. I'd appreciate any help or suggestions to get Eset to once again filter spam. Thanks.
  6. Marcos - After reading your response, I went and played with Ditto a bit more, and it was acting strange for a number of reasons. Before deciding to uninstall it, I thought I should try re-booting. That seems to have solved all of the unusual ways Ditto was behaving. So...this issue appears to be solved. Thanks for your response!
  7. Friends - First time posting here. I need some help. I'm running Eset Smart Security v. 9.0.349.0 on a Windows 10 machine. I have a small program called "Ditto" running in the background (it's a clipboard manager). Every time I open Ditto, Eset's GUI opens up as well. I've tried excluding Ditto's .exe file, as well as the entire Ditto program folder, but the problem persists. The problem is more an annoyance than anything else, but I'd sure like to solve it if I could. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
