  1. Hello, ESS9 crashed my Outlook 2016 on my Surface Pro 4 and as a result, Outlook disabled ESS9's module. I also noticed that my Surface 4 Pro's fan would occasionally turn on indicating high CPU usage. When I checked out Task Manager and saw that ESET Service is using a high CPU (> 30%). At the time, ESS9 wasn't running a scan or updating the virus database. I've used SysInspector and created a file. How can I find the file and attach it here?
  2. Thanks all for the response. I am using ESS 9 and was able to figure out how to reset the settings to default. I am using Surface Pro 4 and the only thing I turned off is the idle state scanning. I will take a look at Malwarebytes. Ideally, I would like the ESET and Malwarebytes to have as minimal impact on my computer as possible. Hopefully these two combo won't drag the system down too much.
  3. Hello, Do I need to install an anti-malware in addition to ESS? Does ESS detect malware as good as standalone products such as Malwarebytes? Also, how do I reset the settings to default? Thanks for all your help.
