Not sure if what i experienced after upgrading the last 2 or 3 EIS versions /builds, Not sure if this is any way related ,But after rebooting to complete the upgrade The LAN icon and the window's firewall where showing that i was not connected to the internet although everything appeared to be working fine, the LAN icon/and the Network & sharing centre eventually changed to the correct state this however disappeared after a few more re starts this is on a PC running Win 7,

Your suggestion above made no difference still being blocked by the filtering, the e-mail server provider i use is namesco. names.co.uk the error is, If i disable the POP3 secure ssl filtering it works without issue, Also if i drill down further in the list of applications that are filtered by ssl if i set the outlook.exe to ignore from auto it also works with the POP secure enabled in eset

For some reason today EIS has started blocking communication of POP3S in the Outlook email client ,(2010) I have disabled the POP3 secure checking within the eset Gui and i can then receive and check my e-mail, again, Strange that it has just started doing this the only thing that has changed is eset modules

It was 100% related to eset because it had been working normally even today it worked normally following a reboot, prior to upgrading to the latest EIS version( in program) this was the result following it being upgraded upon restarting , i rebooted because the 1st restart left my KB (RGB)not being recognised properly, but both times the win networking GUI was per my screen snip

I ain't 100% sure it was solely down to disabling that service, or them both, the only problem that is apparent is that streaming to my smart tv is no longer working as a result, I did prior to this close port via CMD, I will re-enable both services at some point and try and find which process or processes are generating the traffic to those IP's i recently found out that the s/ware i use to control the cooling fans and RGB on my GPU https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/asus-gigabyte-drivers-contain-code-execution-vulnerabilities-pocs-galore/ So could be this S/w or it may be something else,

SSDP Disabled which also disabled UPnP, (win 7) but that has stopped these inbound attacks or whatever they were, All those IP addresses did appear in Wireshark, but i didn't save the Pcap, i have since installed a Microsoft tool that works like Wireshark, but shows the process that is sending /receiving , Eset scans find nothing within the O/S or 3rd party S/W installed on the PC , So if it's a worm Eset isn't detecting it

I didn't buy it retail (boxed) or from eset direct, Just a question would upgrading the system disk cause a licencing issue, as recently i made a full disk backup which i then restored to a new ssd, but because I didn't include restoring the old HDD's hardware signature, windows decided that its licence was no longer activated, but i got that resolved, via MS's auto-activation telephone service does eset licencing work in a similar way to Microsoft ?

Dunno mate, but i found a trial key online, seeing as eset want you to now download the product and presumably it is activated after install automatically, when we used to go to their site provide your email and they would send you a trial licence, not anymore, they have gone very anti-user friendly IMO I have used trial's as an emergency stop gap in the past, it's called give and take, well this is disappointing
