  10. Hi Rockermann, If you have version 4.x of ERA installed, I recommend following the steps in the following article: How do I upgrade ESET Remote Administrator to the latest version? Since you are upgrading to ERA 5 from 4, you might want to reference our guide for creating a new policy using settings from ERA 4 and earlier.

  15. Ah, I was on a Windows 7 machine. Really, that is interesting. For me on win8 x64. Their is no "eye" icon in system tray. Its the "e" icon logo.
  16. Hello, Beta versions are precursors of final products intended for testing purposes. We do not recommend that you run beta versions on production systems that contain important data. With regard to activation, beta downloads are free of charge (you do not need your ESET-issued Username and Password to activate and use them).

  21. This might be due to some remnants of ESET staying behind after you uninstalled your product. Try running a manual uninstallation and then open Microsoft Outlook.
  22. It looks like the Linux client workstations are running EAV4 Business Edition -- what version of ESET Remote Administrator do you have installed?
  23. To be clear: When you access the Zones and Rules editor on your client worktstation (endpoint) you can select your own rules. When you try to access your user-created zones via Configuration Editor, they are not available. Is this accurate?
  24. I assume that you are using ESET Endpoint Security (you posted under ERA). If so, did you create your zones according to these instructions?
