  5. So everyone knows, SOLN332 (referenced above) has been updated.
  6. Are you running any other antivirus solutions? You can run the AV Removal Tool in SOLN146 to check for/remove other AV solutions.
  7. This might seem like a silly question, but did you download and install the same product you originally purchased? Also, did you complete the items in this checklist? For most U/P-related issues, these steps resolve the issue.
  8. What method are you using for contacting ESET? Have you tried the Support Request Form or Chat?
  9. Hi bossxxl, To resolve this issue: Remove previously installed antivirus software. Remove previous installations of ESET. Attempt the installation again.
  10. If you know the email address you used when you purchased your ESET product, you should be able to retrieve your Username and Password using our Lost License page. Once you have completed this form and received the email from ESET containing your credentials, you can then enter your Username and Password into your product to activate it.

Hello Stephen, If you have a valid ESET-issued Username and Password (which would have been emailed to you after you purchased your product, or after activating with your activation key), you can simply re-install ESET Smart Security, select Activate using a Username and Password in the Product Activation window, and then enter this Username/Password combination. Alternatively, you can click Activate Later, finish the installation, and then enter your Username and Password into the product after the fact.

Edit: Never mind, I just restarted the Mac today and straight away ESET locked up and froze my entire Mac for over a minute, which meant some of ESET's processes stopping running, which then meant ESET's protection wasn't working, which finally meant that the ESET GUI wasn't responding. I needed to uninstall 6.0.14.0 until a solution is made. As soon as ECSP uninstalled, everything started working as norma
  17. Yes--we highly recommend upgrading to the latest version of ESET Cyber Security or ESET Cyber Security Pro (currently 6.0.14.0) when running these products on Yosemite.

  19. Ah, perhaps not as I discuss it more with folks over here. Are you running the latest version of ESET Smart Security? Upgrading to the latest version and proceeding as Marcos prescribed above should allow you to download the file.
  20. The blocked downloads immediately made me think of Poweliks. Maybe give part II in the following KB article a try to make sure that Poweliks is not the cause of your issue? How do I remove a Poweliks infection?

  22. Hey-o, It could be that your pop-up notifications have been disabled. To re-enable them, press the F5 key to access Advanced setup, expand User interface, click Alerts and nifications, make sure the check box next to Display notifications on desktop is selected and click OK to save your changes. Does this help?
  23. Hi @grant7072. Do you have any more information on what exactly you were doing in ERA when received this error?
  24. You could run a component-based (custom) installation, either locally or using ESET Remote Administrator. I am unaware of any method to do this after the ESET Endpoint product has been installed on the workstation.
