I don't know if there's a technical reason why the problem is not on the list or if it needs to be added in future versions of PROTECT. Currently we track it as a possible bug.

Try temporarily re-enabling SHA1 support by running:
update-crypto-policies --set DEFAULT:SHA1
Then enable advanced security as per https://support.eset.com/en/kb7930.

We expect the problem to be fixed tomorrow. In particular, you should be able to finish creation of the task without the need to select a referenced server.

You've mentioned version 10.1.245, perhaps you meant ESET Endpoint 10.1.2045?  Anyways, it appears that you have an ESET Internet Security license so please uninstall ESET, run the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode to remove possible leftovers and then install ESET Internet Security 17.1.9 from scratch.

I can't verify if the activators are valid on your machine, hence I've asked to put the subnet to the trusted zone explicitly at least while troubleshooting the issue.

ESET scans email messages during the download through POP3(S) or IMAP(S). Real-time protection does not scan mailbox files on a disk. They are not scanned by the on-demand scanner by default either as scanning mailbox files requires "email files" to be enabled in the appropriate on-demand scan profile setup.

I was able to open the site in a browser, it was not blocked.

The logging severity must be changed to Warning if you want Web Control records to be transmitted to ESMC. However, the higher number of visited urls be reported to ESMC, the more likely the ESMC server will stop responding due to being inundated with tons of Web Control data.

Mozete vyskusat odinstalovat ESET Smart Security Premium (ESSP) a v nudzovom rezime spustit ESET Uninstall Tool, ktory by ho mal odstranit. Po naslednej instalacii ESSP by uz vobec nemal byt medzi ovladacmi.

Did you activate a 30-day trial license after installation in the product? The above trial license is registered to 3xxxxxx5@axxxxxxxxxxxxt.top. Trial licenses don't require an ESET HOME account, just fill in the trial license activation form after installation and the trial license will activate automatically.

This is expected. Scanning the registry takes long. The information about the path is informative, it should show the last path that was scanned. Startup scans run after a module update and when the system starts are faster as they scan only autostart registry locations.
Please switch to the pre-release update channel in the advanced setup to upgrade your ESET to v17.1.9 which has this fixed.

According to https://help.eset.com/eeau/10/en-US/?system_requirements.html, it's supported.
As for remote installation on Linux, you just need to deploy agent as per https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/fs_local_deployment_agent_linu.html and then send a software install task.

I assume that virtually no AV can scan QUIC. It's been experimental for a long time. As I have already mentioned, HTTP/3 will be supported as of v17.1.

I'm not getting any alerts while browsing the website. Most likely the malware has been removed in the mean time.
