  1. It's weird but there was no communication with ESET's activation servers nor the appropriate DNS request logged. Please generate fresh logs, now also with "advanced licensing logging" selected. Also temporarily change logging verbosity to Diagnostic. Before activation, please close any network-aware application (browsers, email client, etc.) so that the log contains only related network communication. After enabling advanced logging, click Help and support -> Change license -> Enter a license key. If activation fails with an error, disable logging, change the logging verbosity back to Informative and gather fresh logs with ELC.
  2. You can enable advanced update engine logging in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics and then run update. Next disable logging, gather logs with ESET Log Collector and provide me with the generated archive. Unfortunately you don't have ESET Internet Security installed which can also log network communication during update due to the Network protection module that it has but the update log should be enough to start off.
  3. Endpoint communicates with activation servers even if no or expired license is installed. Please provide a Wireshark pcap log from an activation attempt. Alternatively you can enable advanced network protection logging in the advanced Endpoint setup -> Tools -> Diagnostics, try to activate the product, then disable logging and gather logs with ESET Log Collector. When done, upload the log(s) here.
  4. To make sure that correct update servers are used, uninstall ESET, download the installer from www.eset.com and install it. Afterwards activate it (either with a paid license key or activate a trial version) and it should update instantly. Also make sure that the machine is connected directly and not through a proxy server.
  5. That question was answered here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/17583-upgrade-esmc-704510-to-7072/?do=findComment&comment=87074
  6. You'll need to enable this via an ESMC agent policy first:
  7. Do you want to delete your my.eset.com account? Or delete a device from the Anti-Theft portal or what exactly? You can also post some screen shots for clarification.
  8. The version of the components is correct. See https://support.eset.com/kb3690/:
  9. That's correct: https://help.eset.com/esmc_admin/70/en-US/update_product.html.
  10. It appears that you have an Endpoint license for quite many machines. Business licenses are managed via ESET Business Account portal https://eba.eset.com, not via my.eset.com. Please register an account for free at EBA and add your license key there.
  11. Hello, The goal of this message thread is to provide ESET with specific feedback on changes and new features you would like to see in future versions of ESET web portals. Please use the following format when providing feedback: Description: A very-specific one-line description of your feedback. Detail: A more detailed explanation of your feedback. Please feel free to make this any length, but be sure to use terms everyone can understand. If your suggestion is an extension or update to an existing discussion, please include a link to it in your message. Here is an example: Description: Configuring consumer ESET products via my.eset.com Detail: It would be handy if ESET consumer products could be configurable via the my.eset.com portal. You are welcome to discuss the merits of each and every suggestion, but keep your comments on topic, concise and thoughtful. There are other parts of the forum to discuss issues. NOTE: When making your requests do not offer general suggestions. Requests must be actionable: If you have a specific feature or functionality you would like to see added (or improved) please post it here, but general requests, such as to "make gui better" are not helpful because they do not give ESET detailed enough information. Thank you for your understanding.
  12. I would consider installing / deploying the latest ESMC v7 rather than ERA v6. Also Endpoint v7 and other v7 server products work best with ESMC. After deploying ESMC, deploy agent on clients, ideally using a GPO script or the Deployment tool: With ERA/ESMC, you can manage also Endpoint v5 clients. From ESMC you can send a software install task to clients to get Endpoint upgraded to the latest v7. You can also uninstall Endpoint v5 first and then install v7 from scratch (machines would need to be restarted after uninstallation). For more information about installing / upgrading Endpoint via ESMC, please read https://support.eset.com/kb6726/.
  13. The paths to update folders appear to be correct in the registry. Please enable advanced update engine logging in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics, reproduce the error, then disable logging and gather fresh ELC logs. You don't need to set a password to encrypt the archive since only moderators and ESET staff can access attachments in this forum.
  14. Please refer to this existing topic: https://forum.eset.com/topic/15915-is-it-possible-to-block-unsecured-wi-fi-networks/
  15. That's possible. We have also users with licenses for 5-20 machines who don't need to have ESET managed via ESMC/ECA and prefer using consumer products for whatever reason.
  16. Please gather logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.
  17. ESET Gateway Security for Linux is based on v4 for Linux servers to my best knowledge and therefore doesn't support activation yet. It should be enough to install a correct license file and set up a username and password for update. As for update from ESET's update server via http proxy, it's supported according to the documentation:
  18. Do you lend your phone to other persons that you'd need to have access to recent applications blocked? We have put the wish on out backlog as an improvement for future versions.
  19. Please run the uninstall tool in safe mode and then install v12 from scratch.
  20. Customer care can submit a market requirement if there's a demand for a specific feature. If the demand is high enough,it will be cosidered for future versions.
  21. AppLock prevents applications from starting. It does not block already running applications. The list you are referring to are applications that are running in the background. You can close a particular application, e.g. by dragging it to the right and you should not be able to start it then.
  22. AppArmor is not supported. I don't think it's possible to work around it but you can contact customer care.
  23. If you mean upgrading ESMC, send an ESMC upgrade task to it.
  24. Unfortunately I have no clue what you mean by "recents". On my Android phone there is no such feature to show recently used applications. You can contact customer care via the built-in form but we cannot guarantee we will be able to do anything about it. The thing is 3rd party vendors are limited by Android itself and by customizations that the mobile maker implemented.
