  1. Please raise a support ticket since this is an ESET forum and Safetica was developed by another company.
  2. The error occurs if you manually check for updates and update to v11 is downloaded and installed after a reboot. The error doesn't occur if you upgrade to v11 via an msi installer which contains the latest version of the Configuration module 2109.2. This module is also downloaded if you switch to the pre-release update channel (a reboot will be required for the firewall to load properly). On Monday we plan to release a newer version of the Configuration module 2109.2 on the regular update channel.
  3. This is Outlook for Windows from Microsoft Store, not Microsoft Outlook:
  4. It's a per-user setting. If I remember correctly, configuring it via a policy will set it for all users:
  5. Only integration to Microsoft Outlook is supported. If you have it installed, what version is it? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Outlook
  6. Please provide: 1, A handful of encrypted files (ideally Office documents) 2, The ransomware note with payment instructions 3, Log collected with ESET Log Collector from the machine.
  7. There are no errors logged. Please carry on as follows: Enable advanced network protection logging under Tools -> Diagnostics in the advanced setup Restart the server to reproduce the issue Stop logging Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here. Also provide a screenshot of the error.
  8. Without knowing if ESET is involved in the crash, we also don't know what we should check for in logs. If it's crashing, a dump should be analyzed by the maker of the application to determine the source of the crash. At least we would need to know step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the issue on our end if it's impossible to temporarily uninstall the application to find out it it makes a difference and if it's crashing without ESET being installed.
  9. Please find a possible solution for your phone at https://dontkillmyapp.com/.

  11. I'm afraid we can't do much about that, however, the maker of the software could contact ESET and try to find a solution together.
  12. First of all we'll need to make sure that it's somehow related to ESET being installed. Please answer my previous question if the issue goes away if you temporarily uninstall ESET and returns as soon as you re-install it with default settings.
  13. This is a functionality of Exchange and mail flow rules: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/mail-flow-external-message-warning-help/38e75efe-5945-451a-bcd0-f80d8d685a23

  16. Could you please provide more details on the use case? Using the Isolate from network option from ESET PROTECT is not an option?

  18. As far as ESET security products are concerned, we recommend using the auto-update feature. This way program updates will be installed after the next reboot of a machine at least 1-2 weeks after a new version has been released. You can create an auto-update policy and set the maximum version that the program is allowed to update to and this way control the program updates.
  19. Not sure what you mean by "I'm having trouble reading the command". The information shown in the pop-up notification when a HIPS rule is applied are also logged in the HIPS log providing the logging verbosity was set to "information":
  20. If you are referring to the splash-screen displayed when ESET is starting, you can disable it in the advanced setup:
  21. Please disable "Global media keys" in the MPC-BE setup as suggested at https://forum.eset.com/topic/37278-weird-bug-with-eset-is-media-player-classic-be.
